Hi , good effort being put in .Was wondering if you are sourcing components or planning to forge stuff (piston/crank case etc) ? this sounds like an expensive project !

hi and thanx to remind me the cluch and gear problem with the 700cc and 50 + bhp motor.
once the engine is build i know there is dry cluch belt driven available for the RE and yea there is 6 speed grear box is also availbale in the market that will [both] including tax cost us 40k in home
.
now the thing that is not available is the motor with v twin and two RE heads ? forget carberry and Mustek its not our cup of tea !
[musket engine will cost us nearly 4 lakh and plus 105% tax so that will go 8.5 lakh appro. that too when if we can make Aniket to give his desing to us, carberry is costing 45k $
, no option to import] now u tell me which is the best course of action we shall go to get a v twin bike ?? that too it will cost us 3 lakh and yea not road leagal ! but can give us pleasure of life and 50+ bhp !!!!!

hey if your designer has successfully made the RE cad, send it to me via e-mail man.
let me see carefully what the insides look like.
besides if possible i can also get your V design made from my designer.
just as a backup.
even i agree with Saerius.
I'll hunt for gear manufacturer too.
regarding musket, it has huge amounts of Torque, not bhp.
of course bhp will increase with the double compression.
a RE will give almost 60 NM of torque if everthing is done well i suppose.
its really taking shape bro....

we all are not engineers nor designers but yes some of us are engineers and designers. those who realy think they can make differance plz post u r comments and wat ever u have (thought, pic, may be CAD designer name here on xbhp, or someone u know how can help us). i hope if every one is ready to give something this will not take long time ! and we will be able to finish it very fast. thanx.sigpic

i am not a cruiser fan.
i love corner cravings but hate high revving engines too (paradox).
so if i can't afford a ducati (which i really don't think i ever can).

in fact the plan is that while introducing the homologated v twin we will have ready our sports bike, Indias sports bike ! it will be 90' v twin. just don't worry i got plans for that. its a chain process and one step is depende on the completion of privious step.Originally posted by NANOtechnology View Post

u can find GAS [kartik], then inflemable [alok], spiderweb all the our top designers. u can find them in my visitors massages. PM them the designe u have. they can improve it and post back here and you.
every one here wants a bike like that, and i belive we can do it, we just need to intiate the process.

my net connection of out of service for 2days so cant reply any of ur messages,,,
well guys i need dimensions of the thing that r goin to be designed,,,,
like i would say to start it with piston,,,than after the connecting rod,,,crankshaft and rest of the things,,,
but few things r goin to be used from royal enfields engine only,,,like in this project we will use piston n the head portion from royal enfields engine...
so if anyone of u have a piston or just its dimensions then please send to me,,, i will make diagram out of it n post it to guys.....
i tried getting dimensions from a local shop but most of them just denied to gimme a piston for dimension purpose...
i m posting some of my work that i m currently working on,,,,hope u all can help us in getting this project into pages of indian history,,,,

now serious, we can't go to musket, even we get the designe it will cost us like 5-lakh, then we have to cast the 50% engine here too. so that is not in our cup.

i went to a bullet workshop today, that stupid mech didn't let me click pics of anything.
and he said that me didn't even have an open casing to look at.
I've got a better idea guys.
why don't we source a SERVICE manual from somewhere??
