Hello all friends, i have been a dreaming ( as child) scince i come to know about bike and riding that India is lacking somthing in biking. As we (i) grow up i always dreamed about Royal Enfield 350, eventualy i won one since 2 years now. But still there is somthing that make me think that we can do, but we are not doing ? hence i have desided to build a V-twin powerful bike in India so that we can afford it, as i don't want to spend 7 to 10 lakh for bike which i even can not pay. So i stared to gather information and stared to make friends, search them on-line and keep a contact directory and manage time to meet them as well. I come to know that there are many of us who wanted a powerfull engine motorcycle and able to pay up 2.5 to 3 lakhs for such bike, and 80 to 90 k for engine ( which is reasonable ) but such a bike or engine is altogather absent in India market !
I also notice that many are trying their hand to chop down a Royal enfield, and are mastered in the act but the limitation of 350 cc and that too only with single cylender, even nice job done some part of our heart remain unsatisfied. There are brilient designer around here who designs is not less that old school or modern cruser bike all over the world.
Indeed i make my mind to have an India V-twin engine and a powerful bike. i started to work on the project and made a team of friends, those are from all background and professios. Since we have strated the project many ideas and suggestions are comming to us and we analyse each of them. Ultimatly we come to mortons fork ! the path was very hard to deside. so we thought of doing it in two way. one we will build completly new v-twin engine with transmission, second was a little odd, the idea was to use in-line 3 cylender Diesel engine (tata indica ) and build a gear-box, now many pressurised us to have v-twin, cause the ultimate chopper is just incoplete with out a twin engine. Hence priorty goes to a twin petrol engine.
Now the time i m writting this we are facing the problem where to and how to desing a god damn engine ! A friend in need is a pest indeed, and i am asking for help here at X-bhp where riding is a life style. i look forward to get any, every kind of help, suggestions, analysis, cost analysis even designe, from anyone who is interested to help us. Every one is invited to work in this project, just a work will assigned to and responsibility will be trusted.
I hope with gress of all good and essence of Nationality will help us doing this. ( If someone is already doing this i m ready to join him.)
