So stock air filter is the best one according to you.I'm also not interest in Changing the air filter.Even stock is available at RS.137 lost up to 15k kms but K&N is for Rs.1000+ it's simply waste of moneyOriginally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostNever waste money on these Free Flow Filter and local FFE's.AFAIK there are no tuned FFE available for this bike. These FFF is not going to increase your bike's performance.

very easy job... many have done it before... costs around 20k in total, some wielding here and there which will hold the frame and over that will be mounted the fairing and the headlight. exhaust is just a plug and play.Originally posted by arjunb25 View Postmy friend wants to change his silencer and the lights of 220 cc pulsar on his brand new bajaj pulsar 180 ug5
can u please throw some light on this I will be glad.
exhaust costs around 8k-8.5k, fairing + fairing frame costs around 2k-2.5k and the headlight costs around 5k. Rest will be labour charges, wiring, screws and bolts, H7 bulbs, etc.
If your friend goes in for this modd, tell him to directly go for 35w H7 HID and if he wants to stick to Halogen, tell him to use 35w lights as P180 and P220 has different electrical setup. P180 can't pull 55w lights.

Just to point out, although the K&N plugs up quicker than the paper filters and lets more dirt through overall, when it's clean the K&N flows *a lot* more air than a paper filter. That's not to say that such a filter is a good idea. I used to run one on my mud truck back in the states, but that thing had a 7-liter, 400hp engine, with a carburetor capable of flowing more than 700cfm. I kept the filter clean, and didn't do much driving in heavy dust. I used it instead of paper, because I did drive through deep water/mud, and didn't want the filter to collapse (and maybe get pulled into the motor) if it got wet.Originally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View Post
Here in India, dry and dusty/smoky conditions are highly prevalent outside of monsoon season (just remember what the Buddh circuit looked like). Further, most of you are running small bikes that can't pull much air. A paper filter will do far better under these conditions. Just remember to check it once in a while during rainy season (or maybe swap in a reusable filter for just those few months, since there isn't much dust, and the filter will hold up better if it gets wet).ATGATT: All The Gear, All The Time!

Hey, I am also looking for a pair of clip-ons, but the sort that clip on directly on the forks. I have no idea about them. Any body know where to find them in Pune/Nagpur and the cost. Are they reliable? Need them for a cafe racer project...Originally posted by Mithoz View PostHey does anyone hav any idea bout the price range of Clip on Handle bars (Pulsar, Apache etc). Needed for Stunner.
Suggestions are welcomed regarding the fitting or any other issues. Need some help on this.
