    Great mods GRz.

    Fellow boarders.... I own a first generation, red Honda unicorn and wish to mod the same.

    Wish list (views/opinions are welcome):
    1. Replace headlight assembly with Yamaha FZS
    EDIT: just checked the Honda CB1000R on the HMSI website... if only the dealers have the parts for this one
    2. Install disc brake for the rear wheel
    3. Change mono suspension with that of the new honda unicorn (i do not have much info on this currently)
    4. Black powder coat engine, chain cover, foot rest pegs etc
    5. Need recommendations for good tyres and wheels.
    6. Nice cushioned/padded seats (like those of Avenger or other cruisers).

    Please advise and let me know of any sane mech in Blore to get these done.

      the procedure is just remove the whole silencer open the front plate of silencer paint everypart the side steel line is protected by tape n cut the holes between the tape after the paint job dont touch it for 1 day...then you are good 2 go

      the paint dont peel out due to heat but it depends how you take care of it.... the painter will add hardner to the paint which will help it out for sticking....

            a 140/60 is virtually a direct fit on a P220.

            the tyre profile get's higher...
            it "curves" more than when put on a pulsar mag.

              no mod required it is a direct fit.....mrf revz the same tyre in fz......cost 2600

                UPDATE! Monoshock and Rear Disc Conversion on my Pulsar/Rouser 200

                Current Mods:
                1. BRT Imax 8 Step Programmable CDI
                2. Koso Carb w/ Cone Filter
                3. Carbon Fiber Free Flow Exhaust System
                4. Monoshock Conversion
                5. Rear Disc Brake Conversion
                6. 70.5mm piston (coming)
                7. modded camshaft (coming)

                  Bro how has the handling of the bike changed with the addition of the rear Mono-Shock?? I would be great if you could share the details of the Mono-Shock conversion, guys around would be very keen to know that.

                    Those mods look good indeed. Did u use LEDs or neon? Cuz I've seen plenty of people installing LEDs on their bikes nowadays. How much for the lights anyways?

                      so far i like the mono on it's handling on rough roads and even on highways...

                      not yet tried this one on a long trip but one day i will...

                      about the details, i just used the stock swing arm, made a bracket on the swing arm and chassis to hold the mono and made a brace around the swing arm for support and used yoshi-r adjustable mono...
