Yes it does bump up acceleration in the whole rev range.The camshaft fits directly. No mods required at all. They are not high lift cams. I compared with the stock, the lobe height is the same. But the difference is in the lobe width. The 220F's camshaft has wider lobes which keeps the valves open for a longer period of time than the stock camshaft. This mod is compatible with UG3. I can't really say about the older versions or even the newer versions as I have't tried it. U can get it from yamaha SVC for Rs 1015

If you are planning to fit this on a P180UG3 or the P150UG3 or the P200
then you need the avenger 180's stator coil part number DV 11 10 05
It is a direct fit and no extra mods required. It provides a 60 watt headlight line.

Haven't changed any of the parts you mentioned. Going the UG4 way is too damn expensive and worthless. I followed Rahuldevnath's P180UG3 DC mod. Search the forum and you'll find it. Its the simplest DIY mod which I executed all by myself with telephone help by Rahul. Now this is my 3rd circuit and now I have mastered the art!

My HID lasted a good 6 hours on a highway. In the city too it shows no damn problems. I use a Roots Windtone 5A horn too and I honk a lot. Still it works strong! You can try it on a stock stator. But upgrading to the avenger coil is recommended. Rewinding is even better.

Yes a simple swap job. Just that you need to get the allen head bolt from the 220F.It is the one that holds the timing chain sprocket on the camshaft and is longer than the one found in the P180UG3.
