  • Some international flavour.

    Enjoying seeing something different. Some interesting builds.

    One of mine 88 gsxr 750, 2005 r1 yamaha rear including full suspension 2003 tlr front etc etc lots of different parts. Started another build and this bike is now a track bike.





    Started off looking like this.

          Guys lets dedicate this thread to all the things that people who don't like it stock here on xBHP. Post your bike name and year and enlist all your mods here.
          This way owners of stock condition bikes will get ideas about how to enhance their ride.

          I have a 2008 P180UG3
          Mods I've done so far:
          1.Avenger Stator Coil + Osram 65/55Watt H4 halogen bulb
          2.Half chain cover and got rid of the saree guard.
          3.Seat modded to provide better comfort for long rides by eliminating the slope of the seat and converted to step seat to look like the P200's split seat.
          4.Full DC conversion
          5.Got rid of the halogen and running a H4 HID BiXenon.
          6.Roots windtone horn for the highways.
          7.Longer duration camshaft from the P220F.


          next in line are K&N free flow intake with bigger jets, and sprocketting

                    I have a question. Is 220's highlift camshaft is direct fit to other pulsars? coz I'm planning to do it on my 200. & what is the cost involved?

                    I'm sure its gonna give a good bump in top end.

                      Please avoid using K & N since it allows larger dust particles without filtering them.
                      K&N air filter or OEM, why OEM is better
                      Making the vehicle full DC will involve ,coil , rectifier and regulator changes....and may be the wiring harness too...How did you do it .Regarding the 220F cam..didl it fit without mods,and will the ignition timing remain original? Kindly share your knowledge on both these changes BEST OF LUCK.

                        Hello friends my name is Arish...iam new to this thread....
                        I think this thread rocks and its very useful...

                        I own a GS150R 2010 model...
                        I have done only 2 mods i.e. Installed HID Xeon and changed the stock rear view mirrors with an indicator type one...

                        Now iam looking for some performance mods...can anyone tell me which mod is suitable for my GS...??? Can adding K&N filter increase acceleration ??? also i want my bike to sound like a sportsbike and not like a mixer grinder...

                        Please help me guys iam eagerly waiting for your replies...

                          Dude...you dont have multiple cylinders revving in higher RPM range to make it sound like a big bike...but puttin K&N will make engine run more freely but will need carb tuning and upjetting also changing the exhaist note...try wid final gearing by changin the sprockes that can match ur bike...overall ratio based on ur preference....higher top speed but less acceleration or vice versa
