Hi All,
I own a classic Honda Unicorn and wish to modify it after almost 5 yrs of owning this beauty.
I wanted to replace the front fairing/headlight assembly with a Yamaha FZ/S or the Unicorn Dazzler
Also, I need to change the tyres (especially rear) and need technical advice on whether i can put the Yamaha FZ wheels and tyres and what I would need to change for it (or any other suggestions).
The Unicorn dazzler has a dual spring mono shock suspension. How difficult would it be to get this on my classic uni?
What other suggestions for modding my Uni? I have changed my filter to a K&N.Comment

The front light of fz would look cool on your bike. Since your Uni is a classic one, try to give a chrome plating to the exhaust and handle bars. Also go for the crash guard of the fz/dazzler. Also the engine guard would also look good.
Regarding the rear tyre, I don't think the rear fat tyre of the fz would do because it would mean changes in the chain, braking assemblies. I suggest keep the same tyres, or elso go for the p220 which is a bit wide. That would mean changes in your mileage.

as for the tyre,on the spoke rim u can go upto 120/80 or a 110/90 tyre which ever suits u.. and as for the fz wheel,u have to change the rim on the rear wheel an then u have to do the same to the front and i have my doubts of that rim fittin on the uni's swingarm..
go for the dazzler's headlight and i'm guessing u have to change the headlight holding clamp and u'll be done.. also the 2 spring must be a replacement fit if the length's of ur's and that of the dazzlers suspention are same.. go to a honda mech and ask him these details..RED BULL did'nt give me WINGS, my BIKE did !!

plz help in converting cd deluxe to all dc
i have read various post in this forum about converting ac/dc bike to all dc
but i have doubt as Hero honda cd deluxe 2006 model is having only two coils in stator assembly unlike round stator coils in pulsar. once seen while repairing done by mechanic
there are six wires coming out from stator . i have not opened it since no proper tools only visual insecpection .white ,green .yellow , light greenwith red ,blue white, black red , four wires are going to RR green yellow white red . the red wires connect to +ve terminal of battery , bike is having 2.5 amp battery .
i want to make it all dc to run 60/watt hologen or hid . please advice me to use which brand RR in converting along with wiring diagramComment

Better u ask some one to rewind the coil and may be able to use a 55/60W. After rewind ur stock bulb performance will be much better.

are u sure because i read someware hid take 9 to 10 amp initialy to full glow and do u think battery can give that much backup like if we use it for 2 or 3 hour while long drive
