Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, pal.

These limited editions are produced once.. and as, it won't be produced any further, so all of the productions are provided for immediate sale.. Hence, they are in ready stock.. Initially I couldn't digest riding Repol Honda edition, but now I regret my decision on not choosing it..

Well said , these limited editions are made with that intention that they look different from other bikes and Honda is just doing that . The sticker jobs that we are talking about , its each once taste that matters . As some one said only uncles will buy . Wrong statement .I saw around 3 GP versions in Coimbatore ridden by youngsters. Cant blame them saying that he ! you are riding an ugly bike . No way pal . People spend huge amount to buy these bikes and i don't think any one who is buying this are fools . So to conclude " its each once taste that matters "

I hope my instincts are true....may be Honda have a much better Unicorn up its sleeve and may be Honda is just doing this limited edition stickering to clear off the stocks

              I hope its true

the limited edition repsol replica stickering was to celebrate honda's win. now they have upgraded two versions of the uni.both are basically cosmetic ones.the first one had black alloys and black engine.chrome setup above the headlamp on the fairing. the next one has been launched some time back with the 3d stickering and all black theme. i think this one is the best looking uni till date.as we know the unicorn engine is so smooth that it does not require further refinement.so honda have done well to retain it.a few more bhps wouldn't have hurt as well.

Lemme start off by saying that i own a first gen Uni
And though depressing to state.. Ive seen plenty of 'Uncles' on all the three and a half generations of the Uni

Although.. I feel it has no bearing on the aptness of the vehicle for young people.. Being 21 myself.. I gave up my P150 DTS-I v1 for the Uni as i found her to be an able handler and an effortless mile muncher..
                    Like you put it..
                    Different strokes for different folks

So.. Any more rumours on the CBR 150R coming to town..? I so sorely wish Honda launches this machine here.. 18 PS and Uni-like if not better handling is something no one can ignore..
If HMSI launch it at a price point below the R15, us consumers shall be triumphant once again..!!

The CBR 150 is NOT the kind of bike they would want to launch in India. Its not as Refined an engine as the otehr Honda's. I have ridden the UNicorn and Shine and have the Dio as my back up steed and i know how HMSI engines work. The CBR 150 is not in the same genre.

From what i gatehr their first launch is the 1000 CBR, followed by a 250 + Bike. Which should be quite late in 2010.

Guys, Honda is organizing a race event in chennai track. I saw a poster in Honda service station.

The real story is they have christened it 'CBF 125 Cup' and 'CBR 150R Cup'. There was a picture of the CBR 150R too!!!

I for one wouldn't mind sacrificing a little refinement for 4.5 PS..
AND Im sure Honda wouldn't be selling a bike that's vibing its bolts off..
So.. Seems like a winner on HMSI's hands actually...
