Check out www.bikez.biz with the country selected as India. Also, in case you do settle on a bike, be sure to see all its papers etc.are cleared. There are quite a few threads(&people too) here educating people on what all you need to check before buying. Make sure you're not riding a SBK whose parts were brought in a suitcase in a flight!Originally posted by anuj_123 View Postactually i'm new here.. i was plannini 2 buy a superbike in the rabge of 3-5 lakh.... Plz help me out and do reply if any good-condition 2nd hand is available..???

@ anuj123: I think you are mentioning a small budget. A CBR 600 was available in around 6.75 Lacs.
I ignored it because it was NOT a Rajasthan number - moreover, I had no plans of going to Indore.
Even 05 R1s are available around 5.5 - 7 Lacs ...
I hope you get a good deal, although I find it unlikely ...---

You should get a relatively older bike, but make sure you get a good mechanic to check it. Check the below link for a 94' CBR 900RR Fireblade for 3.2 lakhs.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View Post@ anuj123: I think you are mentioning a small budget. A CBR 600 was available in around 6.75 Lacs.

2nd hand. I know it sounds expensive ... Even I thought so, that's one of small reasons I lost interest ... That person contacted me via PM in Xbhp only ...Originally posted by anuj_123 View PostAre u telling d price of a new bike...??? or a 2nd -hand..???---

That certainly must have been a one off case. Look for atleast 400 meters ahead of you before you intend to do a high speed run. The road should be clear straight ahead, as well as empty on both sides.Originally posted by Streetfighter View PostI tried that same day you went to Lonavla, no scanty population; there was some processions and various groups of about 10 to 12 were walking along the road and crossing here and there. Managed a 180 that day but didn't have the appetite for more
Very often on the western express highway after Vasai you would have cows crossing right in front of you while you are way above the permissable speed limit. This is because you cant possibly look through the bushy dividers.
One thing though Areez, its more than amazing that you manage to keep your hormones in check. Kudos!

Hitting 125 on a 200 mph capable bike happens in a flash, even before you realise it. I rode back the Busa the other day and didn't realise I was doing 110mph with a fair scattering of traffic around. Doing 125 on a 130 mph capable street bike is another thing. You need a long clear road for that. The excuse bit was a joke mate.Originally posted by insaneroller View PostNot only bikers but quite a few read & head for various reasons & you can max out an MT-01 on the W.E.highway itself. The max delivery of an MT-01 is 125mph (201kmph). I've hit that speed plenty of times on that stretch from Bandra Kurla to kalina. Why would I make an excuse
May be I was plain unlucky that day. Though I was ahead of the Busa on the highway on account of the twisties :-)Originally posted by manson View PostThat certainly must have been a one off case. Sorry but what is a de-restricter, and how does it work?Originally posted by insaneroller View Postyah yah dude. lets do this. My beast is also set. Getting the map in tonight & the de-restricter too
but I must say I'm a bit scared after last night's rip. Dam, once she takes off, you suddenly realise how fast your are going, then the breaking gets a bit tricky. Well will have to get used to the power increase.

Dude, both those tracks wont allow a hyperbike to go past 2nd or 3rd gear max. You'll find a karizma or RD or any 600cc bike will be taking the hyperbike. So those tracks aint worth it for a 14R or Busa. Noida is coming up with a killer track but god knows when it'll be ready. Noida outer roads are awesome for straightline bursts.
@isbkracing, its a simple black box that bypasses the ecu set speed limit on the hyperbikes as per law. De-restricting it will enable the bike to reach greater speeds. So if you are on the Salt Pan, you can manage to touch 380kmph even.BMW X5, CIVIC
