Hey guys, a friend of mine is looking to get an FFE installed. But he's afraid that the cops might stop him for the sound. So, can the owners please share their experience with the cops when using the FFE?

I have been using the FFE on my RTR180 for 8 months now.. if you ride with dB killer then there is nothing to worry at all, but without it, I would advise to keep the rpms sub 6k in city since it starts screaming after that! Keeping the revs low helps a lot in avoiding unnecessary attention. I didnt have any problems from cops yet.

Thanks Adarsh. He mostly rides under 5K. So, won't be much of a problem for him I guess

I am not really sure that will be the case once it is Joeled! and like I said, if the dB killer is tucked in, you can happily redline in city too

The mileage factor is behind his 5K RPM virtual rev limiter. But yeah, that may change once he gets the exhaust. Let's see
