The dB killer is really killing the fun of the bike. I reinstalled the dBkiller last night and I just was not able to enjoy the bike this moring. Result : the dB killer is back in the tools cupboard
I had my friend ride my bike and I followed him on his bike. Without the dB killer , the bike is LOUD but under 4k rpm , its fine. If you hear the bike approaching , then its not loud enough for a cop to stop you. Its only after you pass the cop that even he realizes that its not a normal exhaust. So I have removed the dB killer and retuned the carb. Ill fine tune it over this week..

So do you now want that cop to chase you?...haha..nice review of the exhaust.

            @ ashwin208

Why don't you have the DB Killer in your Bike's utility box and when a cop stops you, you can say "Silencer Karaab Hogaiya" and show him the part that fell down and needs to be added.

I have a Fancy Number plate on the rear and the Original one in the Utility box, and play the same trick.

Note: If the same Cop holds you again, condition would be unfavorable.

                      Thanks man !
Ill let you know man .. There is this tuning issue that I need to solve before I go on any ride.

                      @all Joelled 220-ians
What is your CO % ( from an emission test ) with Joel's exhaust ?
At autosvc , they use the CO % as a parameter to tune so please let me know at the earliest..

                            Update : mileage check

After struggling with tuning , I seemed to have finally got it right.
Used R-R method coz i wanted to check the mileage with little fuel.
Filled for 100 bucks - 1.33L , she ran 46 kms. Thats 34.5 in the city. Most of the riding was with a pillion nad i kept the revs below 6k rpm. Ill probably get more if i ride within 4k rpm but the bike just shoots past 4k too quickly !
Loving the race concepts experience !

Refined engine - smooth acceleration - crisp throttle, solid sound - terrific road presence - and the great indian factor for judging anything to do with 2 wheels - nice fuel efficiency.
Will take vids and test top speed / acceleration over the weekend.
                            Stay TUNED

I would call it Terrifying road Presence for others,

Just a feedback, Pls add the DB Killer within City limits.

The throttle is my dB killer
No seriously, I keep the revs within 6k rpm in the city. Its not that bad. Ive tailed my bike on my friends' and the sound is manageable till 6k..
