  • Honest Riders vs Dishonest Drivers!

According to a Driving Standard's Agency of UK, drivers cheat at their driving tests while riders do not!

Around 455 drivers got someone else to take their practical tests to get a license. While 1469 drivers got an impersonator to take their theory tests. Not a single rider was caught cheating on their tests.

In India it is rather different that most people never have to go for a driving or riding test. People just pay for a license, while sitting at home. So drivers and riders are equally dishonest. Thus endangering other road users with their uneducated (driving related) behavior.

Are riders really more honest than drivers? Or are they just smarter that they don't get caught? What's your take?
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

back in UK people cheat for they dont know driving and are scared to fail as they wont be able to re-apply for the test for maybe 6 weeks or so.

here people cheat for everything is unorganized. Had govt office been quick and organized ,the number of people getting work done through agents
would have reduced drastically. here people wont work. huge line outside now the person who works on weekday would not prefer standing and
letting the work day go waste instead they prefer spending 200 bucks to the agent and making another 1000 bucks for the day..

just good business u know ..

I do not concur completely with the first part. The reason being my mother had to take the practicals three times in definite intervals to pass the tests. I know that most people at least here in Kerala do not fake their tests recently. The authorities have become strict in their evaluation. They are strict to the measure where you cannot have your car switch off while you are taking your test and the full H or 8 must be in one continuous motion.

While I was taking the test the inspector would disqualify anyone who even tried to put their legs on the ground. And there was this guy with my MDS who knocked off half the steel rods which marked the H for car driving test. He didn't get approval.

Even though these are some things that I know I have heard about people paying and cheating in tests to get their licences. In that case we riding on the roads is like signing a contract with the death god.

I have my doubts about the second part too, but I would say I'm pretty much honest. And I'm pretty smart not to get caught. :P
