      Re: Duke 390 Accessories

We are a group of 9 bikers going to ladakh this month-end on our Dukes- 200s and 390s. Please suggest which tyres ( dual/ off road - brand and model) to be fitted for the Ladakh terrain. We will be riding for 13 days covering 2600+ kms on highways and off road terrain. Puncture scenarios also to be considered. I have travelled 5 days max from morn till night on my 390 and my 'seat' started paining from the 2nd day. So which material and how to modify the bike's seat to minimise the pain in my seat.

Search around and you will find people have fitted Ceat Vertigo sports TL in front and rear for off-road in Dukes. The tyre in itself is brilliant and gets good feedback from rally-ists.
Since its tubeless and also with hard rubber punctures should be a lesser pain. Not sure about how to modify seat but you can try putting your suspension to the softest setting for some comfort in off-road. Dukes in stock are pathetic off-road and is not built for it.

re: Modifications on KTM Duke/ RC series

was searching for \"wind shield\" in KTM 390 and i landed here.
Jagjit- u made the \"katoom\" a mindblowing touring machine with all the accessories. Is there anyway you can guide me with pointers with where and how can i get those luggage boxes and the fog lamps. You can PM me if you want.

                  Thanks again

Mods on my D200 are all touring adventure emphasised.
I had those rally handle bars installed....handleguards ...engine bay skid plate thus good clearence....front and rear tyres changed to dual purpose ones thus big sidewalls give more ground clearence. Footpegs moved forward....Postion is relaxed now.Got a small windshield too. Seat has a new soft foam installed, the stock one aches a lot.
Im thinking now for a front dirt type fender and 18" tyres for front. A rubber or foam socks to prevent front suspension oil seals going kaput.
These are on my Duke 200. And they will be awesome on 390. 200 cruises fine @90-100kph max. 390 will be a treat for high speed cruising and dirt action. I so wish to buy a 390 but i have a 200 already. So im waiting for the 390 adventure dual sport version they said will come.
buddy where did you find the engine bay skid plate ?
and how did you move the foot pegs forward .

The KTM 390 Adventure won't be coming Anytime soon

                          KTM RC 200/390 Modifications

                          Hello,
The RC twins are with us from almost a year now but and also the "You can love me, you can Hate me but you can't Ignore me" factor goes very true with them. But i am starting this thread as i almost google about these RC's almost daily if i could find any different modified RC's but all i get to see everytime is Either the KTM Power Parts upgrade, or the RaceLine Stickering work, and i started believing that maybe there aren't any modifications ( Cosmetic ) which one can do to these RC😶
If there are any RC owners who have done that and made you RC look different then the regular one's can post the Pics or anyone who has got any Ideas about how we can modify the looks of these bikes can Comment here 😊
