but u see even if u r buying a imported product u r paying almost 200% taxes on the product to indian govtOriginally posted by Satellite.kid View Post@payeng: I agree with you. But the reason I came with these thoughts is because I noticed in another thread that some people could decide to go for an Indian product (motorcycle or any product) because they seem to care about India's economy (since buying an Indian product would help the cause). I found this to be a pretty interesting point of view though I may not agree to it
if u r still buying products which r foriegn company but produced here its still indian because its indian labour and indian down stream industries
and only the technology is from out side
more over if any indian makes any hi-fi technology he is selling it to a foriegn company as the indian companys are not paying for that kind of r&d and technolgy
the big automotive players of india are more concentrated towaRDs copying from outside than making it herewith bigger powers comes bigger responsibilities

Will I settle for a comparatively lower quality P220 if there was, say, an identically priced and featured but much higher quality non-Indian 220? Never. Why? Because my deed would act as a tacit acceptance of the poor business sense of the Indian company and provide no kick in the pants to it as an impetus to improve.

Good point :-)Originally posted by payengIndians are Never Blindly Patriotic especially when it comes to making purchase decisions. But Indians are definitely suckers for Value for Money.Last edited by incipient; 10-16-2013, 08:03 PM.
