As far as using x Brand tyres for racing is concerned, it has no relevance to what I said....
'says the guy with a MRF C 3.00 x 18 in the rear on the RTR, which is SAME as what TVS uses on the race track

Ignorance is bliss.... I have access to all three of them... (own two, and my bro in law has the FZ)
The FZ and R15 are in a different league all together when it comes to Braking......!
Have a wierd feeling tht the new rear tubeless tyre would be grippier than what we have in RTR160.

    and +1 to the Fz/R 15 braking!

Whenever Bajaj upgrades their front brakes, (say P200 & 220) they upgrade the tyres too. So, that braking improves overall...

and Wheelbase could have been fine at 1320mm... I wonder why they raised it to 1340, whereas top speed doesn't seem increased.
    1) Your wheelbase answer is in the original posts itself....
    2) With the RTR its probably the 'response' that they are looking at. i.e. the acceleration and not the top speed... the RTR160 was said to have a top speed of 118KM, I have rode it to 123 on a fairly accurate GPS
I remember the OD team stating that the bike reaches 120Ks rather effortlessly...
With proper riding and gear switching am sure it would perform even better... lets see when the bike comes!
