Please feel free to call me in my number (See the signature line) for any query. Hoping to meet you in the next G2G.
yes i will get the NOC,RC book, inurance and PUC documents with me.
I read in some thread that it took one year for a guy to get his road tax paid and registration done even through a broker. Is it true?
Secondly what is the %tax taken as road tax, if you could throw some light so that i could calculate how much I need to pay as road tax.
Also heard that even you have all documents but dont get it registered there cops trouble you.Does this mean I need to take a WB number? how much does this cost?
Any one from bangalore - I have to be in Kolkata by 15th August. what is the fastest way to get NOC and what will be the charges? If you know anyone please help me.Bikes Owned:

@KA01EE5960 well u have over 15days to get it done i suggest you get the NOC without it nothin will be possible. as for the road tax it is cheaper than bangalore. no it does not take 1 year as for the cops they will stop and ask you for papers after seeing the KA number but after you have all ur papers the'll let u go.

Need advice for bike transfer
Hi folks,
I bought my bike in chennai on Feb 2010. It has run only 5000 KM. Recently i got shifted to Pune. I bought bike from bajaj finance. I have completed all the dues and they would give me the NOC letter now.
I am confused over the process of bike transfer.
My RC book has the bajaj finance name written on it as financer.
To my understanding, i have to do the following process :
1) Get NOC from bajaj finance
2)Go to RTO, submit the RC and get a sticker for full ownership.
3)Go to Police commissioner office, get police verification done
4)Go to RTO, for NOC letter.
Please tell me if step 2 is unnecessary.
I contacted a broker and he was charging 3K.Because of language problem in chennai, i am having difficulty in getting it done.

I'm not sure about steps 1 & 2..... you need to do step 3 & 4..... even you need NOC from Pune RTO, if you want to keep your old number or have to apply for a new number.....
there was a thread related to this topic..... every point was mentioned there in detail & the problems faced by people..... I'll try to search it.....

As the bike is registered outside Maharashtra, it will have to be re-registered in Pune RTO & will get a new MH 12 registration number as well... He can't keep his old number...Originally posted by pads View PostI'm not sure about steps 1 & 2..... you need to do step 3 & 4..... even you need NOC from Pune RTO, if you want to keep your old number or have to apply for a new number.....

How to register new bike in Bangalore bought in Chennai
Hi All,
My friend has booked a Honda Dazzler in Velachery, Chennai (Maansarovar Honda showroom) last week and yet to receive the vehicle as it is in finance approval process. He has paid the initial payment (35k) and signed few finance and RTO documents. Now, all of a sudden, he was asked to move to Bangalore (from Chennai) for his work.
1) Can he register the bike in Bangalore instead of Chennai? What are the documents he might need. He is new to Bangalore and do not have any address proof there.
2) Can he take the bike in train or bus without the registration?
Can you people guide us?
Note: It is bit urgent as the showroom guys said they will hand over the vehicle this week (someday around Thursday 13th Jan 2011).
If it is not possible
AS THE WORST CASE, what is the procedure for applying NOC and its fees included
Thank you Everyone!
