The Apache engine will be easier to mod to increase peak torque rpm compared to the Zma engine because of the bore, stroke ratio. But they are still the same because the manufacturers wanted them to have more low end torque to satisfy indian traffic conditions requirements. They made it the same by changing valve timings, valve lifts and carb intake, exhaust dimensions as needed.
