i think more than losing hair, a cause of concern should be taking care of the family jewels during extended periods of riding!!!

GUys are you referring to seekai or soap nuts?

                Aren't these both different?

Soap nuts burn your eyes and its good though.

                    From all the discussion,
I'v decided to do these things:
                    1) Keep hair short.( I have long straight hairs now)
                    2) Oil regularly before head wash.
                    3) Use natural shampoo.
                    4) Use balaclava from now on or scarf even for short rides.
                    What is balaclava??

Anyway, staying on topic, I remember to have read in a newspaper weekend supplement, many years ago that male baldness is caused by genes. Apparently, if your maternal grandfather is bald, you are highly at risk of going bald. Dont know if it is utter bull, but this article did appear in a newspaper. God Promise

I have no option but to wear it. I have sinus problem so cant afford to expose my face to blowing wind :-( So, I wear a full face helmet with a scarf tied around the scalp.

ANyways, you can wear a Bandana or a cap on your head and then wear your helmet..
Avoids contact with your hair and is hygienic as well..
But anything heavy on head, beds the hair n it breaks man, how to avoid that without compromising with safety

Even i have noticed that my hair are becoming thin day by day by using the helmet
Shampoo and conditioner all are same + water quality is also good but the lid is indeed harming my hair.
These days, i keep a cloth between the point of contact of helmet and hair.

I always make it a point to wear a lid wherver i go even though my friends laugh at me and say "you take 5 mins just to put onn/off those helmet and gloves
Any suggestion than using "hair oil"? Eeks... i hate it badly.

guys even my hair density is reducing noticeably. i always wear a bandana before the helmet, wash my hair 3 times a week, oil it once a week etc... but im still losing hair.. it has become so scanty that if one looks at my head, he can clearly see the scalp....
