While riding, you have to put the volume high (because of the road noise interfere your music) in order to listen to the music. This will eventually damage your ears in the long run. Its therefore not recommended.

You will not hear the honking-dangerously coming vehicle behind. For a safe riding I don't recommend musics. Its a different thing in cars but strictly not in case of bikes.

The things is, You can't really enjoy the music while riding nor you will enjoy the riding. Whats the use ?

I do this every often, addiction you can say! But not safe ofcourse.

So do it only if you are 100% sure about your comfort level while listening music n Riding at the same time...

      RIDE SAFE

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

I love to listen to the music while traveling, but never could get the guts to listen while on bike. Yes, I get too damm insecure about not able to listen to something which may cause trouble for others as well as me.

Well..Biking+Music is a very dangerous combo(my personal experience) unless you are pillion..

When you listen to music you literally flow with it.And if it's rock or something of this sort you ride like nuts..You rev according to beats!..And,therefore, it's very difficult to concentrate on road and especially, the traffic behind!

It feels very good though but the risk involved is just the double!

Of late,I've been doing this: One ear to earphones and the other one to horns and traffic chaos!

If you are addicted to music then this can be a better alternative but still it's a strict no-no!
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

well i do listen to music while riding the bike. I mostly hear to the rock music & the advantage is that we do not feel sleepy. Its safe or not mostly depends on the rider.

As a kid, I would listen to music like Pink Floyd and just rip on the cycle singing along

Yes it distracts me ! Doesn't improve my concentration in anyway !

Who needs music when you have your bike?

Open the throttle and listen to your exhaust note.

                    VROOOOOOOOOMMMMM VROOOOOMMMMMMMMMMM

                    No better music than this.

Unless and until you monitor the Rear view mirrors every 5-10secs there shouldn't be an issue listening to music.

More importantly you have to 200% road conscious in all directions with Ear plugs, coz one of your important sensory organ is out of order.

I keep my music on whenever I feel bored of the routine. I use my handfree of my mobile for the same. I generally get calls whenever I ride. To stop vehicle in the corner and then to pick up the mobile to pick the call is irritating. So, with the handfree on, all I have to do is to get to a safe corner and stop my bike to take the call. Once, done just start of my music from where I left.

Listening to music is not encouraged while riding in traffic. It causes problem to us and also to the ongoing traffic since we cannot hear the traffic from behind. Not to mention the speed of the bike would match to the pace of the song we hear. And it happens unknowingly. So I dont encourage music while riding.
