^No water drain hole in a freeflow system. Indeed all the water will get steamed away unlike in your stock system which only has metal baffles. There is no water accumulation in a freeflow system.

Been 2500 kms since i got the desi growler, ermm, Joel's custom FFE for my P220 and it has been a blast ever since, quite literally . The sound has mellowed down a bit and has become much more enjoyable. It still scares the crap out of people from 5k rpm though . I can confirm confidently that the FFE has improved my bike's overall efficiency. Been riding harder and in harsher traffic conditions and the FE continues to be around 37kmpl mark with redlining everyday. Oh and yes, this thing can set off car alarms too in parking lots n bylanes . Been doing that since day one at office and in my locality

A query tho... I noticed that all stock silencers have a drain hole right??? To drain off water if it enters the exhaust?? The FFE does not have it... So Joel, what s the solution if water ever enters the exhaust???

P.S. Good luck for Qatar man... Me following closely...

Well, the exhaust story is too much to explain to most. All I can say is all those fancy looking pipes are good as long as you think it is good. Not on a dyno, or not on a proving ground - a race track.
Nobody realises that exhaust tuning is an art of its own and there is so much that goes behind it.
    ....
Thanks for internet . I don't really know how it all works and my query does not ask for 'how it works', I'm aware it takes a great deal of expertise and tests that is beyond me. Just wanted to know if its possible to extend the FFE up to stock length. I am interested in your FFE. The short length exhaust may be the best possible result achievable but I just happen to prefer longer exhaust so if its possible, cool. If by extending, it looses its intended primary purpose which is performance, then I'll just be getting a growl without teeth so might as well stick to stock. Will highly appreciate if you could please entertain my query.

Been keeping a track of your works and am highly impressed. My bike which is still running on full stock has accumulated enough mileage by now to consider some mods hence my query.

^^ +1. Not just the length, the precise diameter of the header pipe also matters. Pipes designed by Joel are no ordinary Free Flow Exhaust systems. They are designed using scientific calculations and Joel's experience with Road Racing. Joel has mastered the black art of pulse tunning of exhaust and that is something that one can only learn through one's experience.

    Go Joel!!!!! Do us proud!!!!

PS: Length of the pipe defines how it will manage the backpressure of the gases, thus changing the performance characteristics of the machine

I have been pestering Joel for a similar request since a while, albeit it means a new development for a single machine and that would mean a lot of R&D time man!

The souped exhaust has a nice throaty sound man!!!

The R15 is my flagship development, followed by the RTR and both are being raced by us. Next is the Karizma and P220 which are excellent street engines. The older pulsars are not gonna make it even with a head/bore swap of the P220.
Do you have P200 and 220Fi in the list for the performance line-up?
