• Dash/Helmet cam

Hi Guys... I am looking for a dash cam for my Ninja. I came across the GoPro set up. The reviews online seem to be conflicting.

Wanted to know if any one is already using this or in case you have a suggestion of another setup that you may have used. Also, any comments about the price?

Check out Planet DSG website, they sell GoPro cameras. Go through the features of the camera
at their site and decide if this is something that fits your need.

I don't see GoPro cameras on Planet DSG website anymore. Looks like their India distributor now is Stereo Vison in Chennai.

Check'em out at their website http://www.stereovision.biz/Consumer/index.html

Hero 3 retails for $ 299.00 in the US. Hero 2 used to go for Rs 23500/- I think.

1. This thread is from 2010 And somone randomly pulled it from Past ?

2. @argee, Bro GoPro & Damn Cheap ? :O
GoPro white ranges near 20k
Silver near 30k and Black near 40k !
+ the accessories are too expensive.

They are awesome but the price is Bit High.

3. kumarsathishms
And those jugaad are just jugaad uptil 50-60 kmph speed only.
Go on 90-100 & have a fear of falling cam anytime which might disturb you also & then what not.

4. princesirohi ?
Is that a alternative or waste of money buddy ?
13k for this cam ?
Then why not go for GoPro (By adding some more bucks) or some other Action Cam from other brands that are easily available with 720p / 1080p HD version for this price ?

5. sandy.avy220
Talking about GoPro ?
GoPro's accessories are expensive but they are very very easy & friendly when comes to mounting.
Can be mounted in almost any way.

You know the fun ?

Tie Up a GoPro in your Wheel Just make sure it wont fall off.
And it will make proper videos without shake & other issues.
First I was Scared But then We Made a Deal

it is not an alternative to Go-Pro, but a lot of ppl buy point and shoot cameras, so if you are planning to buy a point and shoot camera, better go for this one, will serve dual purpose.
