    @born2slow: it was for better power delivery...

    @psr...
    Now after tuning again i dont feel the loss... but the pilot jet as u said would need a look...
    Now itz taking time between 8000rpm and 9000rpm n 9k is a dead end... before it used to do 10k... is it the main jet now? Air filter is a new one 500kms old...

    I used to get 113kmph at 10k before, now itz at 8.8k.
    @Wanted DoA: +1
    @pavan: dude... am getting drastic mileage.. 33kmpl average in place of 45kmpl...!!!
    needle just flies :O mine doesnt, i do feel a diffrence in the throttle response... your are also running on k&N may be thats what differs... i just got it sold...
    And dude how is your mileage...???
    am running rich but needs it gets stuck at 8500rpm and hesitates...n 9k is a hault. when i tightened 1.5 rotations it went n haulted at 8k. now i will have to try loosing it to 2.5 rotations... Oh! what will be my mileage then???!!

    + psr please look into it..

    Yes there is no difference in valve height. The cam only changes valve timing and hence valve overlap.
    @ARNadal: Install everything stock and just the cam and run the bike. You have to get better performance. Else either your clutch plates are at fault or maybe you got the wrong camshaft.
    Also, since you are keeping gearing stock, you will not see more speed at any RPM than you used to see before.
    The difference the camshaft will make is the time required to hit the redline. The needle just flies.

    You are half right. They are long duration but not high lift. Lobe width is more but height is same so longer duration but no highlift.

    the final gear speeds at all rpm is all the same.
    the top speed recorded now is 116kmph at 9000rpm (took some time reaching here).... couldnt try above that.

    Can the clutch be the problem, i have my tappets loose too.....
    or is it the tuning...
    Off the block acceleration is dependent on the pilot jet and AFR screw till 2,500 to 3,000RPM. After that till 5K it is the needle position ,and after that till red lining it is the combination of air filter breathing and main jet ...Clogged or porous air filter will make the AFR either rich or lean at top end, leading to either spluttering or lack of power..So ride the bike a few times to locate the specific RPMs where you face reduction in performance, and take necessary steps to correct.

    why do you want to change the clutch. It should be fine if you could achieve 116 kmph.

    HI! dude ..Am now running on stock filters, i sold my k&n, now everything except the camshaft is stock...
    Can loose tappets cause this problem...?

    and is the 220's clutch a direct fit....? Should i go for the 220's clutch & pressure plates or the bell too?

    Couldnt try more, will try it tomorrow...

    I didnt observe any increase in speed in each rpm.
    Sad that this didnt make the difference as expected.

    BUT THESE ARE MY OPINIONS RUNNING ON 125 MAIN JET, I SILL FEEL THAT ITZ FLOODING THE ENGINE. SO WILL TRY THE 117.5 STOCK MAIN JET TOO. I HOPE THIS WOULD MAKE ME HAPPY

    As of now I can recommend it to those who plan to go for the K&N.
    the Plus over k&n

    The P220 F cam is a long duration cam and will give you better engine breathing WITHOUT up jetting...Stock jets and setup will work fine.

    Well that's indeed a great compliment! Thank You PSR Sir and OF Sir. I have my burnt RR semi conked off BCU, two RH switch sets and a whole lot of things from my as well as some other bikes.

    I never throw away stuff unless I really think it will be of no use.
    The only things I threw away were the worn out parts like old clutch plates,etc

    When I was installing the camshaft, I found out that the bolt on my bike was not going to fit, I got two bolts of the above part number. One I installed and don't know why I got the other one.
    The other one was lying around sealed.
    Glad that it was useful.
