Re: Mobile or GPS mount for pulsar 220F
Sometimes we got to use GPS and it is not at all convenient to stop, take mobile of out pocket while wearing gloves every time. A mobile mount can be really useful in such situations.Originally posted by HyperRetard View PostWhy mount on the handlebar in the first place?
Wont you be distracted looking at the screen and end up crashing?
Ride safe and have fun.

I bought this from amazon. 350RS. able to fit in my cbr 150r without any problem. I am having a 4.3" screen size mobile. anything more than that wont fit in this holder.
can you post a pic on where did you mount the same. i have been contemplating similar setup but unable to identify the place on clipons.
left clipon ? space between switch and grip ??"A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel."

Re: Mobile or GPS mount for pulsar 220F
quality in not great, but ok for its price and it does its job well, and lasts long too, i am using it sir.Originally posted by sunilg View Postthe quality is not that great! Wouldn't last too long.
i agree others are offering better quality ones with some fancy looks and much higher price.
thats why i mentioned cheapest. and its does it job well.
the cygnett one that you mentioned is similar to rynox with just a different type of mount.
and the zeus one does not proctect the phone from dust dirt etc. + if you fall your mobile will directly touch the road whereas in rynox one it is well padded.

Well if you think about it that way, looking at your own speedometer can distract you in traffic.
Anyway I think his requirement is of a cellphone holder for the highway, so he can use his phone as a gps guidance system. So in that situation its actually quite useful.

oops.. after your question only i realised that it wasnt easy "install and use" type for my bike...
I had to removed this plastic (indicated in the pic above).. then used the metal clip alone to install it on the left clip on.. the metal clip was able to go through gap between the hand grip and switch gear...
For recording videos, i drilled a hole (not shown in the pic) equal to the size of the mobile cam on the backside of the holder.. you can see the video mentioned in my signature...
