    FYI,the RTR engine is a 2 valved SOHC engine!And we do need to adjust valve clearance even if its a DOHC!

      umm.. I din't get the SOHC/DOHC thing except the valve part..

      And yes, its been about 1291 kms since I did the changes as said before, but still the stupid mileage thing is not coming above 41kmpl (inspite of riding at 65~80) at the highway and am in city its still at 39kmpl (riding damn slow at 40~55)

        One suggestion. Keep an eye on the engine oil level. Also next time, when you change engine oil, monitor the level that has come out and also try to smell for any petrol in it.
