  • Need help in purchasing new bike. Looking to get hunk!

    Hi guys,

I am about to purchase a new bike. I love pulsars. Used P150 earlier. But suffered a lot from engine problems and mileage problems. So currently looking for getting any bike with minimal maintenance and a mileage above 50Kmpl. My budget is up to 80k. Please help me anyone. Honda is a good option I guess. I like the styling of hunk. But now hero Honda left collaboration with honda. So are they using the same engines?

they will be using same engine upto 2014.if you like hunk,go ahead but you won't get 50 kmpl within city.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

Yes, they're using the same unicorn engine. In fact, honda will deliver the technology to hero till 2014. So you don't have to worry about that. Coming to mileage... you get 50 only under sane riding.

Hi, But in xBhp, i saw somewhere, the mileage will be between 45 to 55 for city cruising. For the new hunk, some atft technology z der, so compared wid the older version, it gives more mileage. Also, can anyone mention a bestbuy for my budget?

            Howz d new pulsar 150?

Also, I hate the styling of dazzler.

Don't go by ATFT etc. Its just a gimmick not any technology. Only hero know what is ATFT
Haven't ridden new P150s. You can look at GS-150R (Pulsar type looks, features). P135 is very good with very good city mileage but looks small.
              Whats there in a signature?

Last day I took the P135 for a test drive. Not as comfortable as my old P150. Seems like a small bike as u said bro. Suzuki Service centers are not in my area.

My suggestion is Honda Unicorn. Durable engine decent mileage comfortable riding poster and 150cc.

6 Months to 1 year booking for unicorn. Also, itz an outdated design when compared with other 150 cc bikes. I agree performance z superb. But hunk packs the same engine.

                      the new extreme is superb.
We wouldn't need a forum if we all had same opinions, same thoughts, and same bikes..... Enjoy the difference.

When you say unicorn is outdated in looks then Hunk too looks old. But as you said the waiting period of Unicorn's are high. If you like Hunk go for it

Any other good looking bikes with mileage around 50?
I have heard that old hunks are lagging in mileage, but the new ones have better mileage.
Whats the mileage of new pulsars?
                              What about service and all?
My old pulsar sucks pretty well in maintenance cost
