The bleeder nut should be tightened every time before you release the lever I think. Mad Mik should be able to help you.

Re: Disk Brake Problem (Suzuki GS150R)

Hi , I am Shrikanth from bangalore here . Have some issues with my front disk brakes too. I own 2012 tvs apache RTR 160 . here is the problem . the front disk brakes pulses whenever i engage it . I have heard this happens with bikes having ABS but mine doesnt. Took it to 2 ASC but in vein .. they just cant identify the problem or simply dont want to work :-/ . They made me change the disk plate syaying it is bent, but the problem still continues . Recently they made me change the disk pads and suprisingly the service center mechanic says the disk plate is bent again ... i couldnt help but laugh on his face because they themselfs had asked me to replace the plate like 2 months back ... when told about that they give lame reasons that the fork , the mudguard & the disk plate is bent and that the bike had been crashed for this to happen.. i dont know how without my knowledge this could happen unless someone stole my bike had a fun ride, crashed it n got it back lol . I am tired of trying to explain to the ASC people and came to the conclusion that they are stupid .

Someone please let me know if there is good mechanic around in Bangalore who could solve this issue .. its frustrating to ride the bike like this and dangerous in highways because it feels like riding a horse when the disk brake pulses..

      Regards,
      Shrikanth

Only reason i can think of is the bent disk plate and even after replacing it if you found it, may be alignment of front wheel. You can verify by looking at incorrect or uneven wear from the brake pads.

I suggest you check the wheel bearings, wheel bearings with sidewise play can cause this.
