We headed out early morning at 5 and the same old Hosur road welcomed us. Nothing new in the road and the smooth sail lasted till we had to take the diversion for Udumalapet.

The route plan was this:



Encounter with Windmills






We spent some time here clicking and posing. Sun was already up and it was slowly turning up the heat. We headed on and entered the Chinnar wild life sanctuary. It was dry and there was no wild life in sight. The roads were bumpy and narrow, but manageable.

Carried on soaking in the beauty and clicking like crazy bin all directions. We were in no hurry and we planned to reach by Evening. So rode leisurely taking lot of breaks.





We stopped for ender coconut, and we left without drinking one as it was priced at a mere 40 bucks!!


Reached Munnar by 4 and we ran around literally everywhere looking for a room. The place was swamped with tourists and after a lot of haggling, we found a decent place with good parking. Called it a day.

Coming up next, main attractions: Mattupetty dam, Top station and Silent valley tea estate .

Guys like you make for the worst of professionals. You guys are a blot to the average IT guy's reputation!! you guys go on a bike trip on weekends when the the good IT guy burns the midnight oil to meet the deadlines. On top of that you post travelogues. What do you think? The average IT guy would be green with envy? You should be banned!! Mods, please be sane and ban these buggers!!
