Riding Gear - Ordered will be coming here by the third week of July.
Custom made Free flow Exhausts - Under final Testing.
The FFE gave very good results.
If it increases the Performance figures as I was hoping it to then its a Success.
The Total cost for it is also very low.
Will update the cost & Success of it on Sunday.
In City I can see considerable difference - However the real test is on the Highway.

Will post the Difference in the Top end on Sunday.

    Sorry for the delayed Updates!!!!

Hey Prabhakar are you planning to run DYNO tests on your FFE to check the amount of difference it would make in the bikes performance?

            • The FFE was excellent.
My Bike gave more mileage than usual.
I did not fill petrol in the Ride & came home.
Filled the Tank on 7th July Upto the Brim.
It ran for 631kms till now.
Will fill in now in an hour to check the Exact Mileage.

I can say this higher mileage is primarily because of the lean setting it is in currently.

Coming to performance - ITS simply Amazing.
I was doing under 25 to 130+ in the 5th gear itself.
              Better roll on times.

Achieved a Top speed of 137.
But this is not true Speed.
It has an error of almost 3-4% due to worn out front tire.
So the true Top end should be 131-132.

The Vehicle was terribly Short geared - Changed the Rear Sprocket & gone for a wider & Lower profile rear tire - so terrific pick up & Roll ons.

I was not expecting anything above 127.
I got 125.2 True top speed before making the FFE & Making the AFR lean (with Short Gearing ).
But the settings & the Exhaust really made the difference.

Well I did not do the Dyno yet.
Will do the Roller bench test tomorrow & will let U know the Top end on it.

I'm desperately looking for the Mileage figures.
I never expected this high mileage.
I still feel that the Fuel gauge has gone Kaput & there is low or no petrol left in it for going to the Shell Bunk also.
I might have got it filled but the Bunks are closed as it was 11+ in the night.

                  • Mileage of 41

                    Hi

                    I Got a mileage of 40.96.
                    Total km - 639.
                    Total Fuel 15.6ltrs.
However I would like to reserve this result for one more ride/test.
This ride has good amounts of Full throttle.
But not to the same tune as the Araku Trip.
Also the ride was on full throttle for only 200km.
Remaining time was either driving in sane speeds of 80-110.
With the triple digit speeds only under gradual Accelarations & not spirited driving.

But Nevertheless - I started to love my bike even more now.
                    The Grunt was just terrific.
No hard feelings or brand wars now but - my decision to change the bike after IBA NOW STANDS CANCELLED INDEFINITELY.
I'll be sticking with this BIKE for more time than I thought.
May be I may not purchase another at all.

                    Dyno will take time.

FFE would Cost U 1500-2000 if U use UR stock Exhaust.
If U don want to USE stock Exhaust it'll 500 more.

                            • ABS- Go for it

well, i dont want to start a cold war again.. but i have been using it for quite a while now.. all i can say is the braking is way better than before... its not like the actual electronic ABS where the brakes dont lock at all.. but it regulates the fluid pressure so that the wheels dont lock immediately and take some time so that we can come to a stop before they actually get locked.. i have tried locking the front wheel and was successful on roads with ok ok grip.. i pressed the front lever completely at around 40-50 and found the tyre to skid just a bit and also found that braking distance has reduced drastically coz of better traction(i feel so)... but on grippy roads i couldnt do it... only the forks dive in and the bike stopped immediately... my back wheel still tends to lock at times because of poor grip offered by the tyre... but the braking has improved by almost 3-4 times.. i dont know about u guys, but on the roads where i drive, panic braking is very common.. i am very happy to use these as i feel safer while driving fast.. this mechanical ABS combined with good grippy tyres can make driving really a pleasureable experience even in this hectic and reckless traffic.. i personally advice all the disc brake users to try it.. after all it costs just 1250 and can make a lot a lot of difference during emergencies and can save us, which is priceless.. whats wrong in trying it out? if u dont like it remove it..

PS- iam not able to do a stoppie after putting this .. could do it only once that too only on the very very rough and grippy pocharam dam... even on very grippy roads i coulnt do it...

Well, I have few questions here.
                                1. Can anyone find out warranty and insurance related implications of fitting this on to any bike?
                                2. Before we discuss any further about the breaking performance etc... can we arrange a meet with rahul's bike and ravikiran's bike to test?
