Can you specify exactly which parts do you want to modify? This will help others in helping you.

not much you can do the body to an XCD for performance you can go for the usual mods - k&n +upjet , free flow ex. , iridium spitfire etc .

do you have any specific plans ??

I asked about K&N filter for my bike...it is easy available.
I want to give it a look of suzuki bandit and few upgradations for the engine so that it can take that load of the extra body.

Suzuki bandit in the sense ---- Faired or without fairing??

In the sense u wanna give the Muscular look for that skeleton Look a like Bike (no offense)....
XCD is more than a commuter and thinking beyond imaginations in it is quite not possible.....
U can change its looks to that of Bandit....only u change the whole chasis....cosmetics.....
It would definetely cost u more than that of the Original Bike....

            What is ur budget???
            Budget for cosmetics???
            Budget for Performance ???

A bandit without the fairing is what i am looking for. I know if i go for the entire modification it will burn my pocket.
So please help me, what should i do to give it a normal naked sports bike look and a performance at least to bare that.
                I can spend around 30k

Dont flame me, if you are really serious about performance then sell the "SIRF EK PICHLE SEAT" and buy a bigger one's.

Afaik the xcd is mileage muncher not an mod friendly bike

Ok So a Bandit without a Fairing.....
Nice Option....since a faired XCD will look like a Crap.....
Since u have decided to go....i will give u some tips

But first of all.......Modifying a Bike is against everything and will spoil even the Biker Soul in you.....so be carefull
                    30K budget????? - Nice......
First change the Cycle Tyres of XCD.....
If u go for an Big Bike a look tyre ...u need to change the alloys......
So this will itself creap u to 10,000.....
Remove the Headlight assembly and Bikini Fairing....Get the PulsarV1 Headlamp module....and fix it.....3,000 gone
Change the Handle bar.....go for better Clip Ons....
I would prefer that of RTR's or any after marker one...
                    Check for Rearsets for XCD.....
I dont think so u would get this in Stock......
Check for any Modification shops in your area....this will take another....5,000 to 8,000

Ok moving on to Performance part.......
Sprocketing, K&N, Splitfire, Full Can Pipe, Iridium......Nothing will increase the performance of XCD.....if it does u can have only some 5% of increase....

So forget about Performance Modification ---- if u still want.....keep ur hands on Engine...go for a bigger cylinder kit....But its really hard.....

I think the above will do the changes as per ur Dreams....
But the output may be bit of Crap or may be a Genius work....all depends upon on the parts u use...where u do the job.....and also Luck.....

                        xcding the limits

                        hi

as the xcd 125 & 135 are bang identical u can try 135 piston bore kit.

go for uni filters (foam type).... K&N will not help & it will ruin the party....

go for 3.00 sec tyre bigger than this will mess the performance......

carb can be of 24mm venutri should help try these things..............

as handle bar go for p200 (no mods req)/R15 by lowering the top tee clamp a bit down........

go for the stunner peg assy it will give some rear set compared to the commuterish xcd..................

do not mess ur enigne beyond this it will get really baddd to ride & live with it...........

these things can be done by a simple mech every thing is plug & play................ go for it..........

                        best of luck..........

these things should not xcd beyond Rs.15000/-.....

                          Modification went for "toss"

All my modifications went for a toss when i met with an accident few days ago in gurgaon.

I was on my bike with a friend in gurgaon (Palam vihar near ansal's). Was on my way to drop her. I was on a road which was not having a single street lite so i was driving carefully and at a speed of 35kmph as i knew there was a pit in between. I slowed down my bike when suddenly a wagon r hit my bike very hard from behind. Me and my frnd fell down on the road very hard and my little bike skid almost 20-30m down the road. I was bruised in my left knee and my back and my frnd got hurt in her left shoulder.

                          REASON OF ACCIDENT:
The car driver was with his wife and 1 yr old son. The baby fell in between the gears and he shifted all his attention towards the baby and hit us.

I didnt know what came into ny mind but after seeing the baby i let him go.

Dont know when i will again go for modification, atleast not until my bike gets a Good Servicing.

sad to hear this. But did't you notice the car behind you? I mean do you have RVM's? if not then invest in them first. very important.

And howz your friend? and were you both wearing Helmet?
