Am also after the batt charging issues as the stock RR doesnt supports more than 3.5A. Will update once I sort it out.

Whats the wattage of ur HID? 55? then you are right you will have only few min of joy ride with this HID as the 55W HID consumes more than 6A after stabilization and at the startup, no yar you cant get along with a 9AH. But I doubt about the blinkers, even after my battery is almost dead, my blinkers will shine and the horn too, (vibrasonic 3.5AX2) but chockingly.Once the HID starts struggle to lightup, switch off HID else you have to crank the bike in the next morning with the kicker if you have.

Keep on trying with the available options and keep an eye on these, might solve your issues too and don't forget to update it here.
    Better luck next time.
Saj, what about the progress in Sealed Beams for HID? Anything came across? We all are waiting for the progress, like you mentioned earlier, we are also getting some nice treats from some of the oncoming traffics

I've tried with a an Amby sealed beam but there too I faced the glare issue. What next??

Thanks Rossi, one thing we all should accept that is HID's are not designed for the normal sealed beams. Its still in the crude form for a good HID reflector. I've searched the net for this and very few are offering HID sealed beams and that too very expensive. Optics field is very complex for a lay man like me but we've got lot of expert xbhpians here who can contribute to this issue. ALL XBHPians/HIDians pls come forward to sort out this issue.

As of now, the only permanent solution for the glare and beam issues is going for a good projectors. But there also u'll've to sacrifice the bulbs currently using as the projectors use different type of bulbs. We all use H4 telescopic or H4 single beam or what ever. We cant make use of the stock relfector HID bulb anyway but there's still hope, one of my friend told me that he met a person who is using the H4 bulb in a H7 socket projector after some grinding off from the bulb base or something like. I also heard that from some threads like this but not sure about it. Yet to confirm.

            Simple Solution

Keep ear plugs in your ears so you can't hear the threat

Jokes apart, why don't you guys hunt for a Projector??

No Shreeni, we cant assume that no one is greeting u wildly got something in the brain. In fact I got only once and very next day I set the reflector postion to its lowest evenif am not satisfied with the setup. But as matter of fact that we should give respect to others, thatsz why.

Ofcourse, am after that only but I still have some hope to find some solutions in the meantime like we've solved the batt charging issue. How about urs? Solved with new RR?

Am looking for a OEM projector setup, which am expecting this month end and I hope it could be used as a universal type for all bikes those will support an HID. To be precise, A DIRECT RETROFIT type with ANGEL EYES. If it succeeds its a big bang for these cut throats, those who are currently doing these mods at a higher price.

Here's one site from our own country: www.fcunit.com

they are charging for a Pulsar Dom with a single beam projector setup without HID for 4000/- U just need to swap the stock dom with theirs. hows it? I dont feel its worth enough to go for.

I still wonder that why our accessory shop guys are least interested in these type after market kits. There are lot of whacky and crazy kits available but this is much much useful than those aftermarket ones.

This is the proper thread for this question. Anyways, a 60/55W will glow like a diya on the Uni. It will be no upgrade at all!

It will be very dim below say 5k rpm. Above it you may see some benefit. If you ride in the city, rpms will be low. So, this mod is not suggested. The electrical system does not have enough power to support a 60/55W bulb.

I think he wants to upgrade the electricals as well. It is better u rewind the coil or convert the system to DC. Am running my Uni on 55/60w Osram NightBreaker and its way more powerful than stock.

What is this? This is what we all are looking for long time. Its really nice to see and do you have any beam spreads of it? Whats the price of it? Is it a direct fit for every bike? Pls update with all the informations. Will it go through the stock dome?

I think its an HID ready projector?? Those angel eyes are really superb. We dont have any AE kits in India as of now to my knowledge.

So All XBHPians, ready to go for the HID Projectors and make ur bikes HID ready by converting it to Full DC!!

Are u running a accessory shop to deal with? if so, give us ur contact details.

I have a Pulsar and I understood from ur posts that u also have a PULSAR. So defnitly the first projector will be for Pulsar. So u should give a 50% discount for all Pulsars hi hi, lot to expect.

Yes, lts cool and appealing too. Once the things are coming out in a nice manner, I'll let u know about this. I dont've any spread pics as of now, but thing is 4sure as they are OEMs for reputed cos so the quality parameters should be there.

Pricing, no its too early to declare as there are lot of factors to be considered like shipping, duties, local taxes etc. Let it finish first.

Its a direct fit but not that an easy DIY job at all, a bit tricky job, but once u r on the tracks its not a problem.

Yes its an HID ready projector kit and very few are dealing in this. AE's are available in different colours in CCFL and LEDs, its our choice.
