I cant compromise without the fairing Classic can accomodate all universal 7" dome to my knowledge. Amby and Gypsy are not a new swap at all. Do some contribution to the "fairy" domes too

Is it a DC Uni?. In a DC one the current/voltage everything is steady always, but in a AC lighting, current/Volt will be varying in a safer range which will offer a better brightness in my experience. I've tried this 100/90 from batt too, but the brightness was not that impressive as the AC, briightness was only 75% of the AC so retuned to AC untill I switched to HID. But I am not sure about this could be the reason, its just an assumption.

One more thing, since my stator is morethan 130W its driving the bulb like a plasma, may be it could be one of the reason too. A rewounded coil dont have any standards in terms of power ratings it varies from coil to coil, person to person, hand made

I found something on net which can be used for the stock beams and the focal positioning for the HID bulb issues.

Adjustable focus: a unique sliding chute design, making the light course easily locate in the focus position of the head lamp. I think this will take care of the focus and beam spread issues to an extend. But still the glare cut off patern cant be achieved.

I am going to work on my HID bulb whether this could adopted to tackle the present issues. Creative options invited.
