Well Go for Motul 300v Synthetic oil of 10w40 grade. Following is the link for distributors.

Also u can try shell advance 4t vsx which is also a nice semi-synthetic oil and u can get that on shell station in banglore.

        for P150 specification is 20W40.

I was also thinking of switching to synthetic.. but under normal (read extreeme ripping) riding condition it drinks too much oil.. so have to stick with cheap ones.. in mineral trying Gulf Pride 20W40 for first time and finding it very good.. cost 210bucks..

I was talking about my bike dude .. if yours also drink oil like there is no tomorrow, than need to think about how much cost you can bear..
anyways, trying motul for couple of times will not heart the pocket, right!!.. you can switch back any time.. let us also know the experience..

anyways, with any engine oil in pulsars, after 1000 KMs, start checking the oil level.. and if it is low, check again next day.. and if it is still low .. you need to rush for a new engine oil can, otherwise your engine is gone..

i hope i am making sense to all pulsar owners ..

No not all the bikes have this problem.. I have run 6.5k kms in Motul 300V FL & my oil level did not go down..

Like many here i too recommend motul 300v but in the 10W 40 grade which is available in the market will cost you close to Rs 850.

@abhilashabhi12 yes my Xtreme too does not drink 300V like some pulsars.

I have temporarily switched to mineral based oil from motul, its my personal opinion that the 300V is Overkill when it comes to Heat management on a honda..the thing does not even heat up that much after ripping for 80-90 kms continuously .

I believe you must have used W40 grade for your xtreme, I wonder what your verdict will be when you use W50 grade.. in my 6.5k kms long use of W50 300V I never found anytime that bike missed a beat or their was engine over heating problem.. which I used to encounter earlier with normal mineral oils.

I believe finding W40 in Semi Synthetic is difficult, well I already have a bottle of SS in W50 grade which I will be using very soon.
