Hi sohaib! try the search. After market air filters (K&N) has been discussed extensively in xBhp. Though one thing is clear. You need to upjet after installing K&N.

ya i have seen earlier discussions here on xbhp and got an idea from them abt up jetting, but upjetting is required after getting the filter installed, and i am still in a dilemma which filter would be best for my bike, i have even heard of proton filters, today went to a K&N dealer and he was suggesting a lot of filter i guess he just wanted to sell one to me, but still puzzled to which one to buy, i need the model number of the filter so i could directly say it n buy it frm the dealer!!! thnks for reply!!

Go with 1100.. 1060 is pretty small for ZMA..

1100 i see, i had a query that instead of cutting the stock filter box, can i just remove the complete stock filter because i don't want to mess up the original one, and fit the K&N filter directly on it??

karizma has a 125 jet i guess, so will i have to change the jet as well after fitting the filter??

see r1100 is bigger den rc1060..
              it sucks more air...
              upjettin is necessary with tuning...
\so if u buying r1100 then do upjet
or will will find heating issues.....
go for 1100 if milege not a concern

Karizma is a premium bike, and am more into performance rather than mileage, i want my bike to give its best, its not that i dont care about the mileage, but as i have read in xbhp threads the mileage difference would be about 5 km, so its ok for me , for the sacrifice of mileage i get some guddy stuff like better accleration, a smoother ride etc and thnks for your suggestion for the filter really appreciated the much needed help and information. will get the 1100 model, and will post some pics of my bike of the stock and K&N as well, and also the mods i did in my bike, cheers to biking!!! RIDE SAFE!!

RU0200 hmm, sounds interesting, because i need the best filter so that i can get the best out of my bike, but tell me how much does it affect the bike? because installing a bigger filter may lead to big inflow of air in my carb, so would like to know that have you installed that in your bike? and if yes how is it performing?

I beg to differ, It is merely an air filter, meant to filter air, and i dont think "shit" can pass through the filter, rest depends on the type of shit you are considering.

well an air filter is an imortant part, and a good filter will obviously get better air, but it does a lot more than just cleaning the air inflow,it smoothens the bike, its give a smoother initials and the ride, and what i am considering is to get the best option for my bike if this is what you wanted to know!

ya bro am using the filter and its something great compare to the RC1100 and RC1060 if you are looking for something unique then go for it.
i cant claim a big deference in performance but its surely more than 1100, i use K&N for sound than performance, the bike ror so loud that twice i was caught by cops, they thought that I'm using a FFE,

i suggests u to go for 0200, its a cylindrical filter

But you cant ft directly to the carb coz the length of the filter is lil longer,

you can fit it to the bend pipe inside the air box and i even suggest you
to keep the air box coz it can protect your filter from dust and potential thefts,

AFAIK the box has many more functions it has a breather tube connected to it and if u inspect it closely, there are few more pipes connecting to it from engine am not sure about uses of these tubes but if the box is removed, you may find it difficult to keep thees pipes

BEST OF LUCK and please post few pics of yr bike after mods
