OK dude, don't take it into heart, its just a casual term. I just want to trace a bugger who used to irritate me by spamming. May be some of my friends even, just curious to bring him to the day light

We have cyber cell under police department whom can access this and do that. One of my friends is working with them and I'll ask him about this.

Right, Its always good to be genuine and play safe within legal limits so that we dont've nothing to worry about the consequences.

^^ Hey Nano, can you please open a networking thread? I have got loads of questions for you!

well its simple and very much possible..
you only need to bypass security level to reach a server status from any client PC, everything outside the router are entirely different.

there's something known as footprints which can track the isp, and again by bypassing security on that specific source isp, you can find the client pc with mac id, also with ip adress, but mac id is foolproof....
from where it came and at what time...
need 2 authentications, that's it.

now-a-days, you can even locate the exact position with the help of google maps plugin...

these things are SAFE and LEGAL, provided you have security bypass officially..
the only illegal thing is that people try to hack these security illegally and hence it becomes crude...

if you work in some company, ask your server room manager, he'll/she'll explain it easily.

and for your info, these securities are tightly in control by the cyber cell.
its very very difficult to get security pass for 1 person by legal means.
huge companies get security bypass that too very rarely.

AND PLEASE I AM NOT A HACKER..

i am legal and very very legal from every way.

its good to hear that the problem sorted out.
also probably one of the most thankful guys in xbhp is nano, always thanking,to everyone.
nice small detailing edit and add to first.
like sajjit bro told, keep on experimenting and keep on questioning ,to yourself,to us,it keeps the evolution ahead,we also can learn so much.
h3 dual beam is present but uncommon, the projector used by bibek is d2s.

i am also facinated by you nano, got a spare headlight dome yesterday, opened it,now looking for a p 220s high beam reflector, will try to do it,ur way, which is compact, human proof, oem level.i thank you for motivating me.

get ready ,i will bug you soon.

There r projectors where H3 bulb type can be used like urs. Only diff is the projector, if the shield is movable its H4 else its a single beam. Bixen term is generally reffered to HID Conversion kits where the bulb itself activated for dual beam effect. Bi xenon means dual bulb/HID/beam. Initially HID manufacturers used to call this Dual tube like Shree's having as Bi xenon. Later on once the solenoid mechanism was introduced people used to call the H4 (moving bulb) also as Bi Xenon as its got a dual bulb effect. Hope thats cleared.

Good to have a good H..cker in the forum. Why dont you start a thread on that? Am sure that many of us have lot to ask.

BTW, can u locate a PC location by tracking the IP No. from a blog posting?.

what do i do??
Nothing

i am in SY BSc IT ---> Second year bachelors of science in information technology.

i am still studying, when i have time left from biking stuff.
i don't work and neither earned a single penny until now (maybe that's why i spend recklessly)

i am very good with computer stuff (believe me)
if you guys have any issues with ANYTHING related to networks and hardware/software...
ask me, i won't disappoint you all....

yaa,
experimenting will be on and on..
and i will keep the flame alive of all you guys by helping all those who need help.

Don't forget to meet me (you'll be surprised/shocked) whenever you come to mumbai fellas....

by the way.
as much as i know, h3 type sockets for a bixenon are available right???
the one that Doc used in bibeks was a bixenon with h3 socket (maybe)
isn't it true?

Possibly the best and the longest vote of thanks here. I like your determination for the twin pods even though we were not that confident in the final result. May be the only one with this setup. Keep experimenting, posting queries in its full swing. If you look back you can see every one of us have raised many stupid questions here, so come up with more ideas in future too. In a way we all are updating through the interactions while the transformation.

BTW, what do u do man?

If heat is an issue then the manufacturer will take care of it, else they wont go for this setup. I still doubt why they've not supplied the shield.

H3 is purely a single beam setup, cant do with a bi xen bulb. If the projector is capable to do dual beam then its H4. Bixen=H4, an H4 wont fit into an H3. The HID bulb has the same role in any projector, only the shield makes the dual beam effect by opening and closing of it.

Glad it all worked out right finally! So the problem was with coil grounding. We assumed you would have ungrounded the coil, and you assumed there was nothing like this to be done.

Nice precise step by step guide there. Now go out and help all those newbies out there!

Copy that...

Ah !! Very nice to hear that all your problems come to an end

And very well summarized there. Nano, edit your first post in this thread and give link to ur above post so people need not bother to search through all the posts for the summary.

instead of asking it from me, you should ask it to all these gurus like sajit, shreeni, doc, abhijeet who helped me soo much..

in short i can let you know some points...

1- Decide what kinda of a setup you want...

• projector low beam + projector high beam
• projector low beam + reflector high beam
• Bixenon projector...

pro's and cons of each..

--> projector low beam + projector high beam

you need 2 different projectors...
normally what you'll get will have a cut-off, keep one of them inverted for high another for low..

1. its difficult fitting 2 different projectors inside a seambeam
2. it will give out a lot of glare for high beam
3. projector for high beam is terrible as it doesn't serve the purpose (too much of spread)

---> projector low beam + reflector high beam

you'll need a projector and a reflector.
try to find a round reflector meant for high beams only as we don't want wide spread..

1. its difficult putting them together in sealbeam again
2. beam levelling is a biggest pain here as both of them should be given levelling play so that you can choose how high and how low you need both beam depending upon the condition.
3. Amazing output as the combo gives great low beam as well as excellent high beam.. simply unbeatable.

---> bixenon projector..

so far i think this is the easiest job to do in case of projectors..
just cut the back of the seambeam to fit a projector and you are done..

1. you don't have to worry about high / low levelling
2. output of high is better in this setup compared to first one, but still spread is again wide, so not serving the purpose satisfyingly .
3. still not on par with the high beam reflector.
4. EXPENSIVE

now since you know what is what first decide what you want..
after deciding, work on it in a way you like...
after all its YOUR setup..
all are here to help.

2- Convert your bike to full dc.

this is the most widely discussed topic here and you can refer shreeni's thread in desi bikes section to answer all the queries..

REMEMBER TO FLOAT THE GROUND...
which in simple words means don't ground any of the coil ends anywhere, just take coil ends directly to ape rr...
every other connection into and from coil should be left stock.

in even simpler words...
take a 19 guage wire, roughly 300 grams.
depends upon your stator as how much should you wind it, if possible (other's please highlight) make it single phase, that means 1 wire going in, getting rewinded to 12.5 feet per pole (or more if achievable) in clock-anticlock direction on adjacent stator poles.
now that single wire should come out directly without any other contact, outside the wiring to ape rr.

this 19 guage wire will have 2 ends, one starting, one ending, both these ends should lead to grey wires of ape rr.

ape rr will have 2 more wires, a yellow and a black one.
yellow wire to battery +ve, black to battery -ve.

remember now your headlight won't work as it was on ac, go to a mech, and just ask him to give connection to the headlight from battery (in layman's terms)
there might be an argument that he will deny good results but don't listen to anything, just get it done.

that's it you are on DC.

3- Switch to a better battery (mine was 2.5 amp)

since all the electricals, viz
horn
headlight (low beam)
headlight (high beam)
indicators
console lights
parking lights
brake lights
tachometer

WILL RUN ON BATTERY'S SINGLE WIRE ONLY
you obviously need a good battery to take up all the load.
9 amp is recommended.

that's it.
your done..

NOTE:-

the DC conversion part is not as difficult as it seems in my case due to all these posts of failure..
its a simple job, my coil (my brain) and maybe my battery too were not proper hence i faced issues.

the real DIFFICULT job is deciding what to go for as what combo, and getting it done correctly..
see my pics, see sajjit's pics in desi bike section, see shreeni's pics of proj also..

this might also help DIY Projector Headlights

maybe all this helped...

my beam in action pics will come soon...

hey nano great to see your efforts paid off ! now can you write a summary post for noobs like me how you converted bike to full dc as your so many posts till now have confused me a lot . if possible write a new topic telling what to do and what not to . with output pics ofcourse !

hello guys.
just an update.

i kept my low beam on all day today, day as well as night.
i rode totally for maybe 3 hours in normal city conditions, arr 40.
had NO battery issues.

infact i did use both the beams also during the night.
all worked perfectly well.

i was showing my setup to my friends and when the engine was off, and i switched to high, the low beam did turn off.
i switched it off (high beam selected) and switched on, both glew together (at engine off only).

halo is working at full intensity.
both beams were on for roughly 20 mins and everything worked well.
horn still blows to full intensity.
console lights are the brightest I've ever seen on my bike so far.

all's well.

thank you all for helping me getting it RIGHT finally..
thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.

i am very very happy finally.

I think you can open up the projector and slightly alter the shield so you can have nice low beam + a little higher beam. I am really not impressed with Bi-Xe projectors as they don't provide better high beam.

Not my effort, its Navnish who had posted abt this long time back in this forum somewhere.

I actually asked him for a custom setup (1 tube of 3000K and other tube of 4300K) for which he laughed and said, he will have to manufacture for me

even i didn't want any lamps on the handlebars or crash guard
you know what i did right?

since you already have a projector, why don't go for bixenon one.
its better than staying only on low beam

if a new one is expensive then go for junk one.
but you already have a HID which is H3.
finding a H3 type bixenon in junk will be a very very difficult task.
