Canon cameras come with the EOS software, which includes the PhotoStitch software, which is used to create the panoramic shots..

great shot, in fact, great timing too. what was the hawk actually up to? sunbathing, or about to take off?

65 attempts?!? wow, you sure can be adamantly persistent when it comes to capturing your desired shot. but totally worth the effort. keep em coming.

                      • The best way to take a lightning photo would be to set up the camera on a dark cloudy and lightning 'capable' night on a tripod. Point the lens, preferably a wide angle to the area where lightning is most common. Then the trick is to set the cam at a optimum ISO and keep shooting with exposure times ranging between 30 seconds to 2 minutes depending on ambient lighting (so as not to get overexposed photos). This way the guesswork will reduce tremendously about when the lightning will strike and where.

                          • @Simba: Those headlights actually seems illuminated! How!? Is it just the Moon? Moon-light, I mean.. Or some kind of external light source, perhaps?

                              hi again aryan,

as i had mentioned in my 1st post, the initial few pictures had the moonlight as the only light source, as it was loadshedding. a short while later, electricity returned. i then simply turned the bike towards some distant street lights and allowed the yellow halogen glow of the lights to reflect on the headlights.

and the reflection wasnt looking as bright as it looks in the picture. secret to this is the 15 second shutter speed i used.

buffers play a huge role..many a times when u shoot one and the camera gets ready for the next beautiful things happen in that split second!!so its better to keep a check..on the interval.ISO should be the lowest.
