Yes, searched it on Google, got to know a little about it. But, has it got more to do purely with post-processing or at the time you shoot it? Probably, over-exposing the image and spot-metering the subject, or something of that sort??Originally posted by anvancy View Postits basically using spot metering on ur subject and brightening things up..better if u google it.:)

correct.its basically overexposing the background and that brightens up the subject.Originally posted by Aryan View PostYes, searched it on Google, got to know a little about it. i just checked my settings for this photo and got to know that it was actually hard light setting.so this is sort of processing.but u can use high key portrait in many situations.there are no stupid questions.

Great! Thanks for that explanation anvancy. It is out of my purview, I better try out some macros instead..Originally posted by anvancy View Postcorrect.its basically overexposing the background and that brightens up the subject.

after so many days of no clouds they returned with a bang..it was odd to see a storm in november.missed the lightning opportunity since there were papers but didnt miss this.
the sky was literally in flames i would say.

3 RAW +-2EV F5.6..pardon the noise.
@vicky : i like the color one more than the black and white one..to me in the bw shot his face is oddly smoothy..
