But a slight increase in shutter along with ND filter would have changed the whole scene, and try to frame such pics diagonally to cover more area.

nor i have knowledge abt them..

Increasing shutter results in capturing the movement of lights..
And here if you had increased the shutter the water flowing would have looked more smooth like smoke is flowing, and for that you need ND filter (Which neutriaies density of light entering into the cam also known as neutral density filter).It works as a sunglass for camera.

Superb images there. And AFAIK A 470 doesnt has a super macro mode.
