when you are on a bike there is no economy product which is waterproof (but there are 100% waterproof stuff which costs a bomb), though things can be water resistant upto a limit. so don't fall for those lose words. and as I said DSG is not in a good shape these days so choose carefully.

For rains, expert bikers suggest to wear a bigger size rain coat over the riding jackets to protect yourself and so is the case with gloves too I hope you are getting my point

Frankly speaking Ares is the most priced among other similar full gauntlet gloves from the Indian competitors but the feel is like oooo-lala .......... as I have given in my review before that I did try a DSG and a SPG by wearing them at the same time in my hands and I felt a difference in comfort between my left & right hand. Go to planetdsg and cramster websites to see the possibilities. But by looking at the recent posts from a few members I suggest you "just for now" to keep a distance from the DSG as some quality issues had been reported.

Sorry for quoting the whole thing. Will be careful next time.
I'll check out SPG in the stores, I did like the Ares and it's my first choice for now. What are alternatives to both in the same price range(2-3k) ?

First of all a humble request, kindly quote just a line or specific line to avoid unnecessary larger post or just tag the person using @.
Coming back to your query, I suggest that you pay a visit to nearest SPG Dealer to check out Ares. Ares has a double leather support at all the impact spots including the heel of the palm and also take a look at the pic marked below. Though DSG has been an old and known player for the purpose, but some recent posts on Universal riding gears thread has shown some serious quality issues with the DSG. So, better be careful for that.

You wrote that "you live only once" and so I will answer you with open heart ......... Probiker gloves are just to satiate your mind that you are wearing a riding glove, but in reality it is not at all safe & neither comfortable to use for riding. Currently the basic and reliable riding gloves are Cramster Flux ( Riding Gloves, FLUX - Summer Gloves ) and Rynox Rampage ( RYNOX | HOME ). Go for Cramster Flux as it is all leather and good for daily use because "you live only once"

^No, those ₹350 Probiker gloves are just not worth the money. They dont save you from bruises or even cold. There are much better gloves in the range of ₹1100-1500 if budget is a constraint. Otherwise DSG Revive is a time tested tool.

I have enclosed the above pics to show the kind of stitching at fingers. The external stitching serves the purpose very well and is really good for long hours of driving. Overall I am a happy customer with my purchase.

Fellow member @xpranav has posted a great review for the SPG Ares in the same thread  , I recently had an opportunity to try these and I found them to have all the things that I have complained about with regards to the Centaur
The only thing that IMO goes against the SPG Ares is it's high price
Yeah, I better save up to get the Ares!
Anyway, our dp looks super cool, can you list the gear that you have on, in the pic?

Well the intention was to never deliberately use in rain and only happened on unexpected encounters.

I was considering on using kitchen rubber gloves over these in the future but now with soon upgrade to all weather gloves, I am not worried about this aspect

    Will post pictures shortly.

I have not been able to reconfirm the water resistance that I had commented on but I stand by my opinion, as I did use these through some fairly heavy rains while riding alongside fellow xBhpians and still didn't have the soaking issue.
