Re: Orazo Riding Boots
I think it is because the abrasion resistant leather takes care of the function of the toe slider. Atleast that is what my friends who have used it in the past told me when i asked this question.Originally posted by rahulKTMzoomo View Post

Re: Orazo Riding Boots
Normal candle wax will suffice. However, this is only needed when you anticipate that you will be riding through heavy rains. In light to moderate rain, water will not seep through the stitch joints.Originally posted by VisheshS-RE View PostHey,
I placed an order on sunday. could you tell me what sort of wax could i use. Normal candle wax or some special type of wax?
Thanks

Hey,Originally posted by Orazo Boots View PostIn water resistant boots, the only places from where water can seep in is through the stitch (specifically the holes) and not through the leather material.
You could either buy a waterproof boot cover or , we also recommend, applying wax on the stitch area when you expect to be riding through heavy rains.

Thanks for your reply. I live in Delhi (saket). From what I can understand is that your boots are water resistant, is there any method that you would recommend to reduce water seeping during heavy rains? like what was happening in Delhi last week.

Hey Orazo Boots ,Originally posted by Orazo Boots View PostHi @VisheshS-RE , We have a policy of dispatching our boots within 7 working days from the date of receiving the order. However, on a realistic note from our experience, In majority of the cases you would receive the boots in 6-7 days as the end to end production time for a boot is generally 2-3 days. It really depends on where you live.

But I guess each person has his own taste. Anyways, I will purchase one and give my review on it. How long do they generally take to deliver the boots?

Re: Orazo Riding Boots
I personally prefer the VWR version due to the fact that I don't have to worry about my shoe-laces getting stuck in my gear lever. Also, putting the boot on and off becomes really a breeze.Originally posted by VisheshS-RE View PostHey Abhijeet,
Is it better to buy the lace version or the vwr?
+1Originally posted by Suraj Sabat View PostThough i like the style of lace version but would recommend to buy VWR, as the headache to tie up the lace wont be there.

Re: Orazo Riding Boots
Yeah you can use for touring purpose i have been using it for long time. It may take time to settle with the boot but one day you will get use to.Originally posted by VisheshS-RE View PostHey Abhijeet,
Thanks for your review. Actually, a few of my friends in jaipur have been using the orazo picus lace product for a 3-4 years and they have given me very positive feedback. I want to start touring myself in a few months and am shopping for good VFM riding gear. Would you recommend the vwr for touring purposes? I do not ride on the track anyways. Is it better to buy the lace version or the vwr?
Thanks in advance.

Hey Abhijeet,Originally posted by Abhijeet Bhattacharjee View PostI've been using Picus-VWR for the past couple of weeks. From what I've observed, the product focuses on an all rounder boot which will protect you while riding rather than a full fledged riding boot. In my opinion that's not at all a bad thing. I use the boot daily whenever I ride, I don't find it difficult to walk around wearing it.
The only time that you'll miss having a full fledged riding boot would be a track day, where boots like Orozo's would rob you of vital feedback from the bike due to the thick and sturdy sole.

Can you please elaborate on what type of Ankle Protection you provide on your boots? Is it only EVA foam padding or TPU molded plastic inserts? What can buyers expect against Ankle Twisting?
Also, where can I purchase your products in Hyderabad? Any retail shop where I can touch-feel your products?
Hey VaruaG , Thank you for your kind words. As for your queries:
1) We provide an EVA plate around the ankle which gives more resistance to ankle twist.
2) As of now, we do not have dealer in Hyderabad. You can order a pair on our website. ie. www.orazosafety,com
