Hi fellas!! 2nd service done at 6000 KMs. Installed left Grab rail, changed oil (1.8 Litre of Motul 7100 10w50), oil filter, lubed chain with Motul spray. Total damages, Rs.4220. I paid around Rs.3000 during 1st service. The difference is due to the grab rail that I installed this time which costs Rs.1200. Oil change interval is 12,000 KMs, however, I prefer to get it changed at 6,000 Kms.

And the beauty of owning a Ninja, there are no niggles/issues to complain about. Service is quick, time is saved and I see SVC guys again in October 2016 or after 12000 Kms whichever happens earlier, or unless I crash.

Hi!! Thanks man. But this is India. Even if I am 100% cautious there may be someone on the road who might have taken my supari...

Hence, I have my gear on, and for the bike I have 0 dep.

True bro.. Even if you are a sane/sedate rider, one squid bike/car/truck/bus driver is enough to scare the shit out of you when they try to overtake you with very less room available..

Was just saying we should always hope for the best..

Yeah bro, crashes do happen how much ever we try to avoid.. Nobody/nothing in the world is 100% perfect..

And I remember those pics from some old post.. @Divya Sharan bhai, that is @Deathwing's friend's Ninja 650.. Crashed by the owner's brother if I remember correctly..

Riders fine, bikes also fine now, friend had to shell out more than a lakh for damages, he was gonna sell the bike , but after the accident he spent soo Much and changed tyres saw no point in selling also he just changed the battery.

I'm not a owner but I know a few, coming to fuel efficiency, u can expect anything between 24 in the cities to 29 on the highways, spare parts are dependent on the Kawasaki service centres and the number of them, but all I known is that spares will be on the slightly expensive side.

Hello there buddy,
remember me....Paddy from the ZMR forum. Anyway got the ninja last September (I still have the ZMR).

Can try my best to ans your questions:
1.Totally good for mixed conditions we have uite a many members who use it as their primary bike from buying milk round the corner to going on long road trips across state borders.
2. If you use your bike respectfully ...No nothing else required apart from the regular service.
3. Spare part issue...Yes not all the spares can be made available at a go when required. But the SVC's do source them withing a week or two (MAX) if required)
4.FE is a very subjective issue....I personally have got like 12kmpl to 17kmpl in city (bumper to bumper traffic) and reached 25kmpls on highways while i tour. But in usual city traffic moving ...you can expect a 18-20 kmpl number.
5. I can give u quote for things i have added: Frame Sliders Puig pro ~11k
Left grab rail around 1800.

And to mention its a brilliant upgrade from the ZMR. On a personal front you wont take much time to get in sync with the bike. But yeah with great power...comes.........you know it :-) Best of Luck!

I'm amazed to see how you turn it. I have a friend who has N650 and it was very difficult to turn the motorcycle in all turns. Even he agrees to the same even after many thousand kms of ownership.. It is a straight line rocket but when it comes to turns it require a lot more effort than we anticipate.
