    Guys,
Looking for a pre-worshipped Ninja 650 as this is the only one that seems to suit my budget of 3.5-4.5 L.
Below is a link from droom.in shortlisting 3 options that i think are suitable.

    http://droom.in/listing-comparison?lid[0]=1415185239&lid[1]=1415320653&lid[2]=1415225204

    Details:

    Location: Delhi
Odo :Looking at anything less than 5K kms and 2013 and plus models.
    Budget: 3.5-4.5 L
Preference: Higher capacity Fully Ffired bike as close as it can get to a superbike.

Can you please also suggest a few places/sites that i can look at ?

PS: I am open to exploring other options as well, if someone can sugggest any within this budget or maybe a little more.

The corresponding facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/Sbkclsfd/?ref=bookmarks but this is a closed group.

Also try the generic OLX.in and quickr.in
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

              Hi guys,

finally have booked a kawasaki ER6N from KTM chembur and will get the delivery by 18th of june.

I have a 2011 yamaha r15 which is an excellent motorcycle, but touring with a pillion on r15 is very tiring. hence decided to go for the ER6N.

Planning to get the below accesories.

frame sliders - no decided yet can you guys share some info for this.

              radiator guard - redlineplus

fender extender for front - checked the redline plus, also let me know if there are any other brand.

              Future:

              luggage rack for tail bag.

              led lamps

              Thanks

                Hi All,

                I am getting a deal for a 2013 Ninja 650R with 2236kms on odo for 3.8 lacs.
The owner said that he had crashed/fell once as a cow came in front. Post this he replaced the scratched fairing.
Went and examined the bike yesterday. Its in as good as new condition. Rode the bike and didnt seem to experience any such issue.
Would it be wise to pick this up?
What additional stuff should I check before picking up the bike.
Service record is clean. However bike wasnt used for about a year, but was serviced.

I would test ride a showroom vehicle and then come back to this for a test ride. Only then you ll know the difference. If not you must have had your hands on a 650R already.

Please check for bent forks, swing arm, alloys. Broken fairing mounts. Also Since u said it wasn't used for a while check for rusted parts through out.
                  Ride Safe!

                  Cheers,
                  Maneesh S

I am going to pick the bike up on Tuesday 14-6-2016 from Koramangala in Bangalore.

A request to experienced members: Would someone be kind enough to accompany me when I buy the bike. Asking as this is the first time I am buying a 2nd hand bike.

Finally got my Ninja 650 today.
Rode it for around 15kms and I must say I am LOVING it!!!
                        Will post pics in sometime.

Any idea how good are these frame sliders:

Wasnt happy with the stock headlight, hence got Osram H7 Nightbreaker unlimited. These were better than stock however I am used to ridding with LED and HID projectors in my R15 v2, hence had some difficulties riding at night.
Finally got the Osram 35W H7 4200k HID conversion kit. Fixed em myself today morning and boy, they are amazing.
Light up the road real good, the color is very good and doesnt cause glare as well to oncoming traffic.
The color is as close to nigh performance halogens.
Prior to this I have used 3 different kits in my R15 v2 (2 6000k and 1 4300k) and none of those were this good.
Can post pics if folks want to see.

                            You can safely use 10w50.
Heres what is mentioned in service manual:
Although 10W-40 engine oil is the recommended oil for most conditions, the oil viscosity may need to be changed to accommodate atmospheric conditions in
                            your riding area.

Here is India, summers are especially hot, so use of 10w50 is great as is most places, summer temps cross 40.

Last Friday went on a bike trip to Coorg. While going the bike behaved very well. It had rained heavily in Coorg at night. In the morning when I started the bike, its started fine however after sometime i got some burining smell. So switched off the engine. After sometime the bike would start and then engine would die on its own as the rev would lower down. Hence started the bike and revved for a while and started riding. After sometime the engine warning light came on.
As of now the bike is running however the engine warning light glows as soon as i start the bike.
Is there any way I can diagnose stuff without going to the service center?
