After sometime the bike would start and then engine would die on its own as the rev would lower down. Hence started the bike and revved for a while and started riding. After sometime the engine warning light came on.
As of now the bike is running however the engine warning light glows as soon as i start the bike.
Is there any way I can diagnose stuff without going to the service center?
    Check the manual
It would have a page regarding the engine warning lights
The code flashes by the number of long and short flashes
Just see that and check the manual and you'll find the error

Finally installed the Sport Bars today. Did the job myself, took around 40 mins. Control is a lot better than the stock bars. Going on a trip tomorrow. Lets see how it pans out when riding for long periods.

Rode it for around 15kms and I must say I am LOVING it!!!
                Will post pics in sometime.

Any idea how good are these frame sliders:
RD Moto SL-01 Type Springed Crash Protector (Black) - Bachoo Motors

Wasnt happy with the stock headlight, hence got Osram H7 Nightbreaker unlimited. These were better than stock however I am used to ridding with LED and HID projectors in my R15 v2, hence had some difficulties riding at night.
Finally got the Osram 35W H7 4200k HID conversion kit. Fixed em myself today morning and boy, they are amazing.
Light up the road real good, the color is very good and doesnt cause glare as well to oncoming traffic.
The color is as close to nigh performance halogens.
Prior to this I have used 3 different kits in my R15 v2 (2 6000k and 1 4300k) and none of those were this good.
Can post pics if folks want to see.
Please do post some pics of your ride as well as the lights.

                  Friends,

I have carried out whole body re-painting to candy red from default green, with the pattern similar to current model. This was carried out in XBS AUTO in Bangalore. The work what they have done was amazing.

Yes, kind of. KTM showrooms arent selling Kawasakis anymore. They cant order Kawasaki parts as well. All Kawasaki showrooms are now selling bikes from Z250 to the H2R. Kawasaki will set up exclusive stand alone service centres first in major cities , thereby expanding, and will service the entire range. The next two months might be a little difficult for Kawa owners to source parts and service as well. On-going discussion for extending service alone at KTM is also ongoing. Hopefully, good times are ahead.

Yes read on a magazine that, bajaj-kawa are splitting from 2017, and no more ktm services for Kawasaki.
                          Cheers.

Heard from a kawa owner that dsk might enter the fray, not sure how true it is but there are a lot of questions to be answered.

No DSK as far as I know. A new showroom has opened in Chandigarh last month, a new service centre is opening in Bangalore, and hopefully in majority of major cities. But I have no idea about tier 2 cities with smaller Ninjas. I hope it gets better

Do you know where the service center is opening in Bangalore? I usually get mine serviced at Auto Service and since now the tie up is with Bajaj is over, I don't know how it will be from now on.
