    • Hi

      hi
this is ranga from chennai. Another proud owner of Ninja 650r.
I am here in this community for the past 2 yrs, but not so active. Had been to probiking for my service and happend to know that this group is very active on getting the upgradation stuffs for the bike.

As everyone mentioned, I am also the one (another one rather) who is not so happy about the brakes. So obviously would love to upgrade the same.

@ Sunny - count me in for the upgradation for brakes.
@ all owners in chennai - would love to meet you guys. Pls let me know when you all get together. I will hop in.

Let me know you id's in Fb so that i can add you up...

      Thanks.

Called the PB showroom today: but they have no official comment to make (Hell, nothig unofficial either! )

          • Spoke to the PB showroom owner yesterday. bookings would most probably open by April, and then would have a waiting period of approx 3-4 months.

Have had the bike for around two and half months. Done 2000plus. It's a great bike and pretty much a complete package which can be used everyday.
Have done some mods and some more are planned. I love this bike

                      • can somebody help me add myself to fb group

I had sent a request in fb....did not had any response. Mine is the only ninja 650r in Orissa. Got it from Kolkata...my booking was no 2 in their list.

I have ridden more than 2500 kms now. Overall a great allrounder bike...I am using it for daily commuting. I would like to improve the break response. I am also little concerned about the grip of the rubber...though I have planned to reduce the pressure a bit and give it a shot....but any suggestions on alternate rubber will be of great help.

                              • I shot an email to bajaj auto regarding their plans on bringing the 2012 N650 to India. Got a call from pro biking and they confirmed that the 2012 N650 would arrive in last week of March or April 1st week and the bookings would start after that. He said I should call the PB showroom in beginning of last week of March to confirm on actual date.
