I too surprised! Why there's no coverage on xbhp!

I just got delivery of Yamaha Fazer25 yesterday. I have been waiting for over a year for Hero to launch xPulse but they have been postponing it. Also, Hero gave me very bad experience by not supplying parts for my beloved Impulse. Hence, I would not count on Hero giving out a better Product as this is supposed to be their first fully in-house developed engine. I maybe wrong but I won't Trust their technical knowledge as of now.

The price difference of the carb isn't much so was wondering if I should go with the NS carb and later get the big bore kit. Has anyone done this? Pro's & Cons? Will this be a solution for the high altitude riding?
Though the NS carb seems an overkill for the ZMA to me I don't know what will that do to the 150 mill on Impulse. The thing is broader the throat more the power is located on the upper rpms giving you less pressure differentials at low rpms across the Venturi thus good for drags and high speeds which I doubt is a requirement on Impulse with a big carb. The stock 28mm is too large for it in the first place and the ZMA comes with a 26mm for that matter and Pulsar 150 with BS26 (26mm).

Carb selection is a realistic process. Big is not always good. It's fun to pull the engine at high rpm but only if a carb that big suffices the engine and the performance mods done to the same. Also a carb swap is not good only because it fits. It should meet your riding requirements and power delivery characteristics which seldom people take into the account.

Please let me know how the mod turns out to be once you go with the RTR180 carb, BS29 or the NS one.

NS carb is a UCAL 33mm. The 33mm is an overkill I think compared to the stock 26mm Keihin plus I loose on a lot of low end, too bad for a dual sport. BS29 maybe a good alternative I guess. I still am running on the 28mm from Impulse's stock mill and its pretty shitty (on kmpl figures too).

    Hello off-road lovers..

I have a plan of modding new EXTREME 200R mag wheels to spoke wheels.

    Present size

    Rear -130/70-17". Disc size-220
Front- 100/80-17". Disc size-276 with abs

Is it possible to do the same without touching stock swing arm set up.

What are all the factors to check before trying this.
What are the common parts which needs to be changed in such modification..

    Pls guide me in this..
    Thank u

It runs perfect and it won't go anywhere (it hasn't yet with 60000+kms on stock Impulse.) This carb will have high-altitude problems though. Thus I'll go for the 26mm again but not of ZMA maybe of Unicorn.

Stock wiring, yes. Just the alterations you need is a couple of wires to incorporate the new Charger Unit as I said, that of ZMA. Go for a bigger battery just for the sake of being at the safe side. Though charger unit of ZMA works like a charm but theres no harm in having extra juice in your battery than running out of the same at a no man's land. The less intricate wiring and minimum alterations and the simplicity of the Impulse will not allow any breakdowns. I'm running on a drained battery that's leftover yet to replace (maybe this weekend), and with one auxiliary 20W LED, a kickstart on the morning and it cranks up like a charm.

Using the stock bend for the while (its too restrictive for the stock mill, too much for the ZMA) Need to source a SS pipe. I fabricated the rear pipe steel (not SS). Heat wrapped it.

What watts they are? The stock lamp is shitty but 4aux is too darn much.Yaah. Chor bazaars like that of Meerut are good options for a new mill. A new ZMR (20hp)engine last I remember costed 8000Rs.
Right now have got an offer for 2014 zma running condition engine done about 50k and I need to get the new wiring and charger unit. 4 because the 2 whites(wide) i previously had was placed at the lower crash guard (gets dirty in a while) and the light has been dying(power reduction) and the oncoming traffic doesn't face much of a problem. The other 2 yellow 20w light are crazy powerful, can blind people(don't use it always) but was intended to get a good wide and spot and hopefully get through the thick fogs I face during my rides.
    Zmr is fi right
