    That's Bullshit (sorry for using this word), I suggest you to go personally in their gargare of storage area , and cross check all bike, it might be used here and there.

    When i took my SZR delivery, it was just delivered from the truck to showroom and the reading was 0 (all digit).

    I suggest you to examine all bike personally, one more question are you from DELHI.

    If yes, there from where you are taking your bike. and what's the deal you are getting. ar you also paying separate for helmet. (applicable in West Delhi only, bullshit policy adopted by all hero showroom, infact hero corporate are not listen to this, when i raised this mal practice)

        Showroom guy showed me other bikes...all bikes have same kms...(4 to 5 km)...its kind of test process...
        They'll set 0 before delivery...
        waiting for my white hero...

                Can closing the throttle while shifting gears cause damage to gears ???

                    HERO IGNITOR- ENGINE OIL QUERIES & low mileage issue

                    Hey there,
                    i have hero ignitor 125cc, i dont have much knowledge about engine oils. i wanna know that which synthetic oil should i use next time. ???

                    right now i am usingHero 4-T Plus SAE 10 W 30 SJ(JASO MA), I get a low mileage near to 45 kmpl.

                    can anyone explain me:-

                    • what is difference between synthetic & semi synthetic
                    • which oil i should use for my hero ignitor 125cc
                    • what is this 10W 30 ? does it matters if i go for 10W 50/40 ? instead of 30 ? (i dont have any knowledge related to this terms i am a newbee )
                    • if i use synthetic oil what duration should i change it ? how much months/kms ?
                    • where i can find this synthetic oil in MUMBAI ? (i stay in mira-bhayander)


                    i am getting very low mileage. hope this change would help me

                      I'd advice staying with stock oil for 5-6k kms. After that you can use any xxW30 or xxW40 oil of your choice.

                          How many kms you have clocked if , the kms are above 5000kms switch to 5100 of motul and after some 8000kms you can switch to 7100.

                            THINKING TO GO FOR MOTUL 5100 10w 40 !!

                            10w 40 will work fine right ? ya i should go for 10w 50 ? or 10w 30 ?

                              Go for 10w 40 and after 10000kms you can switch to 10w50, just see how the bike performs with 10w40, full synthetic oil can lasts upto 6000 or 7000kms, but then you have to top it up in between as it gets evaported.Genuinely you should change fs engine oil after 4000kms, and any kind of oil shouldn't remain in your engine for more than six months regardless of the kms.

                                i have Hero Ignitor 125cc, i have some doubts regarding the Air filter.
                                i wanna know that what if i ride my bike without any filter ? it gives a good firing
                                i dont wanna fit k&n filters as they reduce the mileage. as in the second pic the filter is removed what would happen if i read bike without that filter ?

                                any harm to engine ?
