    Re: World of Sprockets!

has anyone switched to .428 chain from .520 piych chain on pulsars ??
i had got my hands on used r15v2 front sprocket and and chain fabricated the rear sprocket from p180 to fit exact on 200ns ..
by the looks of the chain i am in doubt whether the r15's chain can handle the torque and power of ns ?
though this is the used chain i wanna try out but by the looks of it its rusted and worn out ! ..
    any experience anyone?

    Apache 180 has 44T sprocket. The 200 has a 45T sprocket.

The only 46T bikes are Duke 250 and FZ250.

Hi guys, a small query regarding sprockets.
What will be the effect if I change the the sprockets from stock 14/39 to 17/36?
Checked in gear commander and the graph curve is great, there is gain in both pickup and topspeed. Please do share your ideas. And if this is feasible please do tell where to buy these sprockets.

Reason for under-gearing is that I got my P220 Sahyadri'fied.
Why would Sahyadrifying require under gearing? Is it just for touring needs or something else?

    Re: World of Sprockets!

Hello Everyone! Im Mydin, my current bike is a Pulsar 200ns. It was first sight love till now.
Sadly, im a Malaysian so I only could ride my bike whenever Im on vacation at my native which is in Tamilnadu.
Im planning to stay for 2 month at my native coming July. So, Im doing no limit shopping for my girl. The things I bought so far are customized engine cover, k&n replacement air filter, Maintenance free battery with led status bar, Motul 7100,iridium plugs for master and the slaves, handlebar end gold side mirror, shark helmet, customised gold turbular slider ( Ducati Street Fighter inspired ), saddle bags, and RK racing chain 428. Moreover I have ordered custom Ducati Monster 795 headlamp, Rust Oleum High Heat Resistance Spray (2000F), radiator cover, adjustable rear number plate and still considering customized Kawasaki Z250 rear body(need opinions). Last but not least I will buy KTM Duke 200 usd fork and will custom paint it in gold or will gold heated.
The only thing im stuck now is the sprocket. Im planning to 16/45 428. centre hole diameter and the 6 holes diameter and the space between one hole to another. Will be most grateful if any of the members will help me out by posting pictures of P200NS stock sprocket set with detailed diameters..

    Thank you everyone.
