How long do you have before you complete the run in? Can you post few shots of the tacho?

is it in city riding or highway(50kmph+) mixed? Also please try to check for a reserve to reserve mileage with normal Shell petrol loaded after the run-in is complete. I am waiting to 2014 to decide between this or 125ST - with disk brake pulling towards 125ST but if mileage is LOT better than 125ST, might go for this and add a disk brake to 100T

is this forum dead or something..? no recent posts in like 3 months!
anyways i am interested in buying 100t, if any owner is active in this form, it would be greatly appreciated if you give me a review of your experience with this bike!
can 100t deliver a decent pick up? atleast in par with splendor?
I do expect a fe of above 70! can it deliver on that?
then also would like to know whether this bike is capable of going on an occasional (like once in two-three months) long trip of 200+ kms?
then how is the ride quality?

                  replies greatly appreciated!

For the pickup and ride quality, please test ride both 100T and Splendor back to back and you will very well know the difference. And whatever it is that you were told on the other thread, I don't think it would have any issues with going 200odd km with 160kg payload even at sustained speeds of 70+. For FE though, i would wait for the verdict of the actual owners.

Thanks alot for the info! after viewing many reviews, the average fe of 100t is around 65-70! but the lack of front disc worries me! good braking is very essential in our idiot filled road (me one among them! )
meanwhile the 125t is an exact copy of 100t but with a bit more kick and front disc option! its average fe figure is around 55-60, so fe is a prob!
still not sure what to choose!
anyways its between 125t and 100t! (125st avoided as it has a high pillion seat!)

can owners please shed some light on the braking performance of 100t? is it confidence inspiring?

                        I am using 125st past 8-10 month..
Performance = amazing, even with pillion ride i doesnt feel any power loss. thats the best part for 125cc bike top speed=104kmph
                        Average= around 55kmpl
comfort and handling is very good.
Problem= potholes or big speed breaker comes the front shocker is giving a sound tac tac, if anybody knows the solution please share..

Adjust ( tighten ) front coneset nut from service . If possible, have them dismantle and lubricate the coneset bearings .

I still haven't had a ride on this and 125ST, but I would recommend you to check if the seat was high with the mono-shock at max setting or minimum? that might help in you judging the seat heat issue. Also the 125T might have a lower seat as it does not have a mono-shock - however I don't think 125 will be that economical as 100T, but not to forget the extra power you get which will be appreciated after owning the bike for 5 yrs. Regarding the disc, if you know a dealer very well - just try what I am planning, to get a disk setup transferred from a 125ST spares and if the dealer can sell your brand new 100T parts as spares for someone else - [I might be able to get this done as I know the service manager near my place very well, being a loyal customer for long and also due to some fortunate and accidental referral-purchases, he too is loyal to me] PS - getting the disk fitted will need a lot of changes, the wheel, the right fork, the right lever and oil assembly, the disc and calliper assembly, the labour,....which definitely would be more than the on-road difference between 100T and 125ST of around 5-6K

That sounds amazing! i am sure that the parts of 125st will be a direct fit for the 100t as both of them are almost the same bike but with minor cosmetic changes and power change! anyways spending 5-6k for discs seems a bit too much dont you think?
then regarding the height of mono shock, even if setting is maximum or minimum, there would be hardly any change in the bike height when there is no pillion! my parents have difficulty getting on the bike! there is no difficulty for them to sit in the slightly elevated seat, just the getting on ! so 125st wont be an option!
100t and 125t are the same except for the engine capacity and the disc brake! so both of them are equal in terms of comfort and maneuverability!
will take a test ride of both soon, if 100t's braking and power is sufficient, will go for 100t! otherwise i will opt for 125t! will keep you posted!
                              thank you for your help!
