    A couple of images just to bring a little bit of freshness to the thread.

    I have set the suspension at lowest height. Ride height is a little bit better now.

    I am thinking to sell the bike now as I rarely get time to ride it. Biker inside of me has died a long time ago.

    Yes you can easily reduce the ride height by 2inch, however it'll also reduce the ground clearance so you should have it in mind while riding with a pillion over some unusual humps.
    I actually used it like that for about 1 year or so later reverted to stock. I manage to scrap the engine scoop part once when I was with a pillion and rode over a big hump while parking the bike ..

    I did it in order to reduce the stiffness as it hurts my lower back. Later became back to stock settings as the bike looks low and handling wasn't as sharp as its meant to.

    No. Adjusting the rear suspension, compressing doesn't affect the ride height "much" but yes, you can feel a mild difference in the bike having a lower set feel. Aftermarket windshields do help a lot when it comes to windblast, and windblast is as pathetic on naked bikes.

    Thought so. Visited one of the service center nearby my office to get the fuel pump and other spares. Inventory seems to be an issue with them these days. Since they have just started operating, procuring the fuel pump will take him 20-25 days. Will try one more service center or else will have to wait for 20 days . I wish there was online shop for bike spares. There is this website 99rpm, but they only have fiat and bajaj spares.

    I have 2016 model and recently did a bleed of both front Brake (already have EBC strinted pads) and rear brake, the brake feels like new.

    Thanks for the confirmation on O ring. I've seen few unboxing videos where the O ring is preinstalled at the base of the fuel pump. I did try the caustic soda, well it flushed out the rusty goop but still there is rust layer on the side walls which just doesn't come out even after trying twice with caustic soda. I also cleaned the fuel pump with it. It looks better than before but tried turning it on via battery connection but it just gives sound 'Click' a slight movement and then nothing. Wire starts heating up. I suspect a short inside the motor. I better replace it.

    Thanks a lot for your valuable tips. I tried caustic soda but still there is rust layer left on the side walls which doesn't come off. I guess coca cola should do the trick. I've posted a comparison pic of the pump before and after cleaning.

    As pathetic as it is, it can create a hole in your stomach, if the consumption is such that. YT is full of DIY videos on cleaning from as psr sir rightly said, toilets, to floors to car rusted floors, to rust removal of old geezerhood articles of yore. And yet, all along, its concoction is still a secret. Should be mild phenyl and sweetners, hence the secret.

    [MENTION=24497]Veeral[/MENTION], I think psr sir, has laid out some more techniques and tips on how to remove gunk from a plastic fuel tank. Basically, plastic tank is far easier to clean than e metal.

    VJ I am no expert, but like you said cleaning a Plastic tank of old petrol and goop is easy. Petrol itself can be used , or Kerosene, or Coca Cola can be used to clean out the tank...Coca Cola had carbolic acid which cleans from Radiators to Toilets.. The Plastic used in Petrol tanks are mostly resistant to this . The presence of water seem to have caused extensive corrosion of Pump and other metal parts.Please check by cleaning the parts if it is corrosion or muddy gook in the Tank coating itself on the parts. .If it is corrosion then the safest method would be to replace the Pump along with filters, and the Injectors may also need cleaning ...

    Will try that with nuts & bolts. I also saw a guy on YouTube named 'Top End' cleaned his RC tank with sodium hydroxide & Hot water. Wondering if same can be done in plastic tank..
