ucal RTR 160 carburettor on TVS fiero f2
as my old original carburettor made some misfires and abnormal behaviour after cleaning with diluted Hcl acid and now i fitted a brand new RTR 160 carb and the engine is very very smooth now without any alterations. Does this carburettor has any direct impact on mileage on my F2. power and pickup is very good now.Leave a comment:

The exact caliper replacement recommendation might be tricky. But you can try with the TVS stable itself, starting from Apache's caliper and or Bajaj 150s caliper. One easy way to check for a replacement caliper is make sure you measure the distance in mm of two bolt insert ears of the old caliper adapter plate pins, if any caliper matches the plate and pins, they're a match. What I'd suggest is use Apache RTR leg, and brake and rotor assembly, they are more or less a direct fit if my memory serves me right.Originally posted by AJ9 View Post

You could always go for the Apache front (Shocks, Wheels, Disc, Calliper, Master Cylinder and Pads). Not sure about the t-stem. You'll have to check and see for any difference and whether the direct fit is possible.Originally posted by puneeth007 View PostLeave a comment:

Go for it, apache and fiero have a shared engine design and architecture, even the stroke length is same 57.8 mm for both. However, the valve port sizes are different due to the cc difference, so would need head porting to be done. Also, the cdi/idi unit would be different and the exhaust would need upgradation to deal with more exhaust pressure.
