This thread makes me miss my good old Karizma R. The funny thing is that I still remember the thrill I got when I test rode it for the first time. It was like a revelation! And after a couple of years I rode a friend's Karizma and it was decided then and there that I was going to buy one. I don't think I have made such an impulsive decision ever in my life. It was decided without looking at any review/technical specification/internet thread at all. If there is anything as love at first sight, this was it!

Engine condition:
Bore - stock
Piston/rings - stock
Timing chain/valves/rockers etc - stock
Cam/conrods blah blah - stock
Clutch/pressure plates - stock (now giving up slowly)

In short, the entire ENGINE is stock!

Now,
Sprockets - stock (they're giving away now. Maybe another 5-6k km at max)
Front pads - on the 5th set now (4 replacements)
Rear pads - on the 2nd set (these were superman pads. Replaced 2k km back)
Front tire - on the 3rd tire (Zapper FS 80/100-18 all the time)
Rear tire - on the 4th tire (Crappy Zapper FY, awesome PSD, lovely Zapper Q tube type, lovelier Zapper Q tubeless now)
Battery - stock lasted 46000 km, this is the 2nd one.
Starter relay - conks out/cracks somehow often. On the 4th starter relay now.
Spark plug - on its 6th plug (change every 12k km).
Air filter - on the 8th filter (ruined one within 4k km).

Others like,
Fork oil replaced thrice.
Chain slides replaced once.
Bar end weights replaced post accident.
Visor replaced post accident.
RVM replaced due to idoitic public (they bend your RVMs and break them in the preocess).
Head lamp bulbs replaced twice.
Injectors cleaned thrice.

Did I miss out something?

Pending - Front left indicator conked out today.

Good quality indeed.
I know my bike's limitations and more importantly mine; hence I stay under those limits.
Though I feel many mechanical components might need a change one after another in quick succession by the time I reach the 6 figure mark.
